While looking around online, I stumbled upon copies of this game being sold in an excess of $200 or more on sites like eBay and Amazon. Reading the reviews, the game apparently isn't all that great (basically a large storage system with some interactive bonus features), but it is rare. I'd love to somehow find a cheaper copy, but so far, I haven't had such luck. It sounds like this game is extremely hard to find, since apparently it was only available online, from what I've read about it.

I was wondering if anyone here actually owned the game themselves. I wasn't actually aware of the game existance until only fairly recently (I know, I'm living in a cave, right? =P), and was under the impression Colosseum, XD, and the abomination known as Channel, were the only Pokemon GCN games.

I have a friend who owns it and I'm pretty sure he bought it from a store since his parents never allow him to order anything online. If it really is being sold for how much you claim it is being sold for, then it's sort of like how the Electroplankton on DS is being sold at around the $100 mark.

It was sold by the New York Pokemon Center, along with a special Memory Card and a GCN-GBA Link Cable, for a grand total of $20. I was fortunate enough to purchase such, as the accessories alone were a bargain at that price, and I still own it today. It may be a mere storage system for the most part, but it allows for the transfer of Pokemon between games, so it has been a very valuable asset.

It is. I have witnessed several of them selling for $250 each.
