The rules of the fanfiction lounge are as follows:
1. First of all, no linking to other sites. Copy and paste your work in the reply box. If there is a link, that link will be deleted and the thread will be closed.
2. Script fanfictions are allowed but only well written ones. Those that are unprofessionally written will be discouraged.
3. There is no chapter limit.
4. Only constructive criticism allowed. Anyone seen bad mouthing, bashing, or making rude comments. People who had people getting rude comment such, as "this sucks," or "you're fanfic is the worst" will report the username to me.
5. Any non-Pokémon fanfiction/story will be moved to the Other Writing forum.
6. Rushed work is discouraged and the thread can be closed. Please pay attention to your work! Make sure you read through the stickied threads in the Writer's Lounge!
7. Double posting and thread reviving is allowed in this forum, but only if you are posting a new chapter for both conditions.
8. Discuss thoughts and ideas in the Writer's Lounge. Please do not post ideas in the general forum area. Likewise, do not post stories in the Writer's Lounge. Also, please refrain from posting in the Fanfiction Archive unless your story is in that area or reviewing/commenting on a certain fanfiction.
9.If your fanfiction excels and stands out, it shall become the fanfiction of the month. I have made the fanfiction of the month requirements a lot stricter so you're not going to see a stereotyped, rushed fanfiction as one. Because of the lack of general activity in the Fanfiction Forums, Fanfiction of the Month is postponed until further notice.
10. If your fanfiction fails to meet the standards of a decent fanfiction, the author will be warned. If the author fails to make an effort to improve or ignores the advice given to him/her, then the thread will be closed.
11. Always follow the Pokecommunity rules. Some rules can be bent in this forum (mentioned in this thread).

These rules can be amended, changed, or taken off, depending on the actions of the members in the Fanfiction Forum.
