Hi! My cousin's birthday is on March, 28th. He will be 12 years old!... He likes pokemon, so I can't decided which game I should buy. He likes pokemon D/P, so I was thinking to buy pokemon platinum for him, but he really likes pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of time/darkness... Which game should I buy for his birthday?

I suggest platinum, but the others are good...mine's 2 days before, so I'm hoping I get platinum. I wish you wisdom in choosing (wow...that sounded weird. lol)

Well, if he already has either Diamond or Pearl, I'd get him one of the Mystery Dungeon games.
Although, if he's really looking forward to Platinum, you should get him that.
Maybe you could casually ask him if he's looking forward to it.
Oh! And be sure to ask his parents if he's asked for any Pokemon games, cause you wouldn't want to get him something his parents are getting him too.

I depends what he likes, if he likes the main Pokemon storyline, then Platinum. Although, if he's more partial to spin offs, then Mystery Dungeon is the way to go.

Personally, I'd buy Platinum, just because it's part of the main Pokemon series. Or, you could buy both ;)

It depends, because if I'm correct, Platinum is still in Japanese and if he can read Japanese/doesn't mind it being in Japanese, go ahead. If it was me, I would just ask him which one he finds more interesting, Platinum or Mystery Dungeon and then go ahead with that. If he asks why, just make up something =P Or use the common "No reason, just wondering." excuse. You'll come up with something XD

Guys... Platinum is being released in North America in early March...

And I'd probably go with Platinum, but you can't really go wrong with either.
"pps new screenie" - No, really shut up yuoaman.

Haaave you read my LP?
Pokémon Quartz - The only one of mine really worth reading.

What about my [Un]Abridged series?
Aquaman the Unabridged Parody Series - Language warning.

Is Platinum even out in English?
If yes then buy It because "He will adore It!"

I'd Personally get him Platinum, if he likes Pokemon games, then get him one that will last him a LONG time, I'm pretty damn sure Platinum has more stuff and replay value than some Pokemon Dungeon spin off game.

Want one? then send me a request and I'll do it.

I personally adored Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 Explorers of Darkness.
Very in depth plot, and constantly has you wondering what will happen next..
Platinum looks like it will be good, but I bet your cousin will get annoyed with the maze we call the Distortion World..
Hmm.. can't go wrong with either, like one of the above posters said.
