Finally, it's coming to the U.S. Ever since I got DQVIII, I've been doing some research on the older Dragon Quest games, and I have to say I wanted to play this one for the longest time. I can't begin to describe how happy I was when I found out that it, along with IV(which seems like a waist to me, but thats a different topic) and VI would be coming to the U.S. on the DS.

Of course, naturally, my DS is currently out of commission and I have to talk to Nintendo about getting it repaired, but I'm still excited about this game. It's the first and only in the series that spans across the childhood and adulthood of the main character, and even ends with the main character's children becoming the heroes. From what I've seen, it doesn't offer many people to join your party, but either way, this game is going to be a long and enjoyable one for sure.

What about you? Excited? Don't really care? Lets hear it.

I'm looking forward to it. I loved the original Super Famicom version, and hopefully this remake won't let me down. The only thing I am not looking forward to is the overly-localized parts of the game. Papas' name is just that, not Pankraz!
