I didn't see a topic for this in the past few pages, so...

The Wii I bought off my brother came in the mail a few days ago. It came with Super Smash Bros. Brawl *cheers*, Resident Evil 4, Wii Sports + Wii Play, and I bought My Sims Kingdom for the sake of wasting time. Amusing and cute, but My Sims is very kid-oriented.

So I was looking for some good Wii games and I'm having trouble finding many. I have Twilight Princess for the GC already, otherwise I would have gotten that A.S.A.P. I was hoping you all had some suggestions? Any good RPGs, Action Adventures, Simulations, or something of the like? Is Web of Shadows any good? Favorite Wii games? Any with exception graphics AND gameplay?

Thanks for the help,
Nubi

Here are my reccomendations:
Mario Kart Wii: A great game, however at times it can get repetitive, though the Wifi (if you own it) races are quite fun. A good game if you have a lot of friends and/or wifi.
Super Paper Mario: Another interesting game with a decent length storyline. It isn't multiplayer, however some of the puzzles are quite hard.
Super Mario Galaxy: An addictive game with quite good graphics. Again, no multiplayer, but the plot isn't so bad and a definit must-buy.

Decent games:
Pokemon Battle Revolution: The reason why I didn't put this in bad is because the main game is quite fun and their are rewards, though again, it gets very repetitive and if you don't own Diamond or Pearl, avoid it at all costs! Also, if you don't own Wifi, then it can get boring...

Not very good games:
Mario Party 8: Honestly, dont get it. The storyline is horrible and after about a hour you'll be bored like mad. I bought it and regretted buying it after a day.

Yes avoid it dont listen to the others. well besides what they said go for wii music i found it pretty fun. Oh and GH. Avoid web of shadows as well. Even worse when it comes to being glitchy then Spiderman 3. Besides that go for zack and wiki. Sure it might seem kiddy but i doubt a 5 year old can solve those puzzles.

^"Art games"? You're confused.

Get Okami and Super Mario Galaxy.

And for the love of God, avoid Battle Revolution at all costs.
It...could be considered art XDD It's a pretty game to look at. Especially on the Wii with enhanced/saturated colours, 480p, and 16:9 display.

Honestly, that game was not all I thought it would be and most of the fun for me was just running around and looking at the colours blur lol

... on the topic of art Wii titles, I would say go with the Art Style games. I like Orbient

Whoa, thanks everyone for all the input.

Super Mario Galaxy is one game I'd like to have
Zack & Wiki looks cute, which isn't a bad thing. A Wii style puzzle adventure will be a nice change
Mario Kart.... Well I remember the N64 version and playing with friends. I have wi-fi floating around so I think I might check that out sometime.
Okami played it on PS2 at my friends. Storyline and concept seems fun. It is cheap right now, I'll probably buy that one.

Metroid Prime: Love Samus in the Smash Bros. Games, never played Metroid. Is there an online mode for it?

Sonic & Super Paper Mario - I'll have to reserve those for sales rack buys.
Wario, can't really stand him. XD

Pokemon Battle Revolution: The reason why I didn't put this in bad is because the main game is quite fun and their are rewards, though again, it gets very repetitive and if you don't own Diamond or Pearl, avoid it at all costs!
Don't have Diamond or Pearl... :/

And guys, what is the appeal of Animal Crossing? I don't want to dismiss it immediately, but I've always avoided Animal Crossing. Played the GC game once, didn't really get what was going on. Why do any of you like it?

Thanks again everyone, I'll definetly be checking on some of these games online. Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart, de Blob (looks... interesting), Zack & Wiki, Metroid, Okami, Orbient (whatever that is), and Animal Crossing for starters.

Anyone else with other games in mind, shoot.

No online multiplayer in Metroid, but you can share Xbox Live-like achievements with your friends.

If you didn't like the original Animal Crossing, then avoid the Wii version. They went downhill after the original.
