Chapter One- VS. Primeape

Violet was sitting there on the bench, alone. He wanted to start his journey, but didn't know how. The lab was closed as Prof. Oak was out on an expedition. Violet was not a patient person and was going to start his journey the day he was promised, with or without Oak's help.

"Aieeeeeeeeeeeeeh!!!! Yaaaah!"

From what Violet made from the sounds, it was someone hard at work, practicing their fighting skills. The curious little boy walked over to where the sound was coming from and saw no person, but a Pokémon. It was a small, purple and brown Pokémon. It was punching rocks and various debris being tossed by a much large ape Pokémon. They were down in the valley below and Violet didn't want to be noticed, he wanted that small purple Pokémon, but if he was noticed, he would be pummeled. The small Pokémon struggled against the bigger objects, but he was applying all his effort and was just able to overcome it. Violet pushed a long purple strand of hair of his face. His green eyes shone purness as he watched down upon the training Pokémon. That is so cool! I have to get him.. The boy fixed his hair, putting it in his usual ponytail-like style.(Much Like This) He strapped his goggles over his eyes, and readied himself. A small lot of rocks and shrapnel were located next to the ape creature. He would need to sneak some to weaken the creature that he wanted and then catch it with his single Poké Ball. Quietly he walked around to the valley, staying behind the bushes where he wouldn't be able to be seen, but could see the target. When he got behind them, he slid down the rock wall and quietly jumped off, landing ever so graceful with a quiet plop. The pile was a few steps away, and with utmost care he stepped over to it. Grabbing a few rocks and twisted metals he placed them on the ground next to him. He needed one more object, something dangerous. Without paying much attention, the young boy reached his hand into the pile and sliced it on a piece of glass.

"YEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOWW!" shouted Violet as he winced in pain.

The ape Pokémon turned around. His face showed rage, he looked as if he wanted to tear the boy apart. "Ape! Ape! Primeape! Prime..ape!Ape!" It shouted in his face raising his fist with anger.

Violet's expression grew blank. His face became as pale as a sheet, he was face to face with an angry Pokémon. He watched, terrified, as the ape Pokémon he recognized as Primeape moved closer to, ready to destroy him. Then, out of nowhere a rock cam hit the agressive attacker on the head. It turned in rage and looked at the small purple Pokémon.

"Primeape?"

"Ty Ty Rogue! Rogue!"

"Prime Primeape! Ape!" It was getting angrier.

Primeape began to approach the Tyrouge. It zeroed in and rose a fist. Before it could the punch in, Violet ran infront the small Pokémon and made a defensive stance. After it just defended him, he wasn't going to let it suffer what he was supposed to. The ape Pokémon swung his fist in a circle and moved it forward ready to attack boy with a full on attack. Before it landed the small purple Pokémon, Tyrogue jumped in front and deflected the attack. It followed with a punch, hitting the ape dead center between the eyes. The ape squealed and wobbled back. It looked even angrier. It stood still. It closed its eyes and seemed to be focusing on it's punch. The young boy was astonished and watched in awe as the much smaller Pokémon ran up and punched the ape, that caused it to fall off balance once more. Violet knew that he had to help, so he climbed up the rock wall were he had a vantage point, and gathered some sharp rocks. Tyrogue and Primeape just began to exchange punches.

Tyrogue jumped in the air and went for a high-kick, but Primeape countered by grabbing the tiny leg. It tossed the Tyrogue to the ground and focused a punch. A white fist launched itself at the Pokémon on the ground. Violet on instinct through a rock, it sliced the Primeapes arm stopping the punch. The ape ignored the pain and stood on one leg. Then it spun around, with the same white energy around the fist. Violet threw another rock, and it missed. He threw two more, one hitting the apes leg. It fell off balance and grabbed it's leg to mend to the pain. Tyrogue stood up and launched another punch dead-on, straight between the enemy's eyes. Then, it fainted. Violet jumped down to the Tyrogue that fainted from exhaustion. He scooped it up in his arms and ran back to the town. The only place that could heal Pokémon was Oak's lab. He had to break into it. When he got to town, he went to sleep, it was pretty late before he even set out.

~~~
Violet woke up, he didn't have any of his blankets on, instead they were wrapped around the creature sleeping soundly next to him. Tyrogue had broken out in a fever and his temperature got really cold, Violet didn't know what else to do for the time being. It was early in the morning, and the sun was just showing over the mountaintops. The cut made him wince in pain, so he walked over to his drawer and bandaged it, then headed for the window. From out of the window, Violet noticed something odd. People were huddled in a group. It wasn't normal, people didn't group up like that in Pallet Town, but it was exactly "mob status". On top of that, they were wearing all black. He decided to go down and investigate.
Chapter Two- VS. Arbok
dpmfa024.png
--Outside of Violet's House--
Bzzt! "OK, Boss. We are in the town, we are locating the lab right now, we are ready to break in."
"OK! SQAUD! ATTENTION! GET READY, BE READY TO FIGHT ANYONE AND ANYTHING THAT COMES IN YOUR WAY! THE LAB SHOULD BE NO SETBACK!"
"SIR YES SIR!" the members shouted in unison.
"MOVE OUT!"
Violet had just left his house and heard everything they were talking about. He had Tyrogue wrapped in a blanket, sleeping. The morning was particularly chilly, so he tried to keep him warm. It was funny to him, as he was going to break into the lab, but this made things a lot more easier. He could blame it on them, and would have evidence. He wouldn't have to do any of the hard work, just walk in and out. His mind was set, and his was ready to go. Quietly he stalked off towards the lab, staying a safe distance behind the men. After a couple minutes of walking, they reached the lab. The men seemed greedy, all they wanted to do was rob Oak and take all his stuff, unlike Violet who just wanted to use some supplies to heal a Pokémon who had gotten injured on his behalf. The door squeaked on it's rusty hinges as they forced it open, and then they entered, all at once, as if the first one their gets everything. Count to ten, and then go in. "One..two..three..," the time seemed to drag on forever,"six.. seven... eight" he noticed a Spearow perch on a nearby tree and then fly off. "Ten." OK, I am going in. The hero walked towards the building, slowly approaching it, Tyrogue in his arms. As he entered the building, he was met with a gust of cold air. Figures.. labs are always cold... He continued down the dark hallway, reading each label on each door carefully. One said "Research Room" whilst another said "Lounge". From inside the lounge he could hear the grunts talking, and lucky him the door had a window. To get around it without being noticed, he had to crawl across on the floor, which was extremely hard with the Tyrogue in his hands.
--In the Lounge--
"OK, so what next?"
"We found out where he stashes all the Pokémon and then we nab 'em. After that, we head to his ranch."
"OK."
"We have to do this, for the boss. Our positions are on the line, if we fail we will be the laughing stock and get demoted. I mean, no one is even here, it shouldn't be hard."
"Yeah."
"Are you guys ready?"
They nodded. Only spoke up,"There are some stones in here, see?" he asked showing them. "There could be more, we should search this room as well as the once across from it first." He stood up and raised his fist in the air. "We are Rockets, we live to pillage! Now lets go!" With that, they all broke out into a frenzy. They pulled drawers out and tore up the couch, shoved over plants, and found nothing. The completely wrecked the room, but found nothing. "Lets move on to the next room." demanded one of the members. They exited the lounge and opened the door across the hall, it was labeled "Research Room" They opened the door which was left unlocked. The proceeded to vandalize this room, the same procedure as before. They found two more objects. When they totaled up their objects, they had a fire stone water stone, and thunder stone. With that, they left the room and continued on down the hall.
--Oak's Office-
Violet had made it to Oak's office without being caught. He was on fire, nothing would stop him. This was the room where the machine was located, the only reason he came here. On the back of the wall was what he was looking for. He walked over and lifted up the glass. He placed the sleeping Tyrogue on it and closed it. The machine roared to life when he pressed the green button. It started as a small whizzing sound and then grew into a quiet roar. Various lights were bleeping on and off. Noticing a small sound from behind him, the boy turned around. He noticed that the knob was being twisted, someone was coming in. Oh, no! What am I going to do? Tyrogue can't fight.. uh.. uh.. oh no. The door swung open and in came two men dressed in the black uniform pranced in.
"Who are you?" asked one of them.
Violet stayed silent.
"We know you are here. Looks like we'll have to take you out of the picture, that is of course unless you willing surrender."
Violet stayed silent. He was rummaging through Oak's belonging's looking for something. Then he grabbed a Poké Ball and pressed the button releasing the Pokémon. It was a small, fox-like one. It chanted it's name, Eevee. "Eevee, you are going to help me beat these crooks okay?" The Eevee nodded. It looked like it was just happy to be out of it's PokéBball. The Eevee wandered around the corner and he followed.
"So, you are deciding to come out after all?" Then he noticed the Pokémon. "Oh,it's a fight you want? OK! Go Arbok!" He turned towards his cohort and whispered,"Once we beat him, we snag this Pokémon and that one in the running machine." they both nodded.
"OK, Arbok! Bite!"
"Eevee, dodge and tackle. The Eevee jumped to the side, avoiding the attack. Then lunged for a tackle, but missed.
"Arbok, poison sting. Then follow it up with Glare!"
The Arbok heard the command and readied himself. He opened his mouth and shot two needle like projectiles that we coated with poison. Then it slithered its long body towards the small Pokémon. It looked at with a menacing look, as if it was looking to the Pokémon's soul. This froze the Eevee in fright, and it took the two needles.
"Eevee, tackle!"
The brown fox ran towards the snake and went in for a tackle. It wasn't running that fast.
"Arbok, bite! Then wrap!"
The snake Pokémon opened it's jaws and bit the attacker. It dropped it and slithered around the body, wrapping it. It squeezed tighter and tighter every moment.
"Eevee! I know you can do it. Free yourself!" Violet watched as the Pokémon struggled.
The fox squirmed and finally freed itself. Without order it used a tackle, surprising the Arbok. The Arbok, however, countered by biting it and dragging it. The two Pokémon collided with the rocket man, causing a rock to fall from his pocket. Before anyone could really process what had happened, Eevee was growing a bright white. Then, the energy subsided and Eevee was a Jolteon. "Jolt! Jolt! Jolteon.. eon!" It chimed happily.
"Alright!" Violet was happy. The Pokémon had gotten stronger. "OK, um. Use Thunder shock!" he commanded. The Jolteon began charging an energy and then shot it at the snake, who dodged. "Tackle, now! Then follow it up with another Thunder shock."
"Jolteon!" The yellow Pokémon ran up, smashing it's hard canine body into it. Then it jumped back and charged up some electrical energy. It shot a beam, that hit the Arbok, frying it. It let out a squeal, and and curled up.
"Arbok! Get up! Now! Then use bite, and then wrap!"
The Arbok got up and slithered over to the electric Pokémon. It opened it's large jaws and clamped down on the enemy. Then, like before wrapped it's body around it. It showed no sign's of letting go.
"Jolteon, charge up your energy, and then release it with discharge!"
The Jolteon held its head low and started charging his energy. The squeezing, meanwhile, became stronger and stronger. Then, the snake bit its captive, but wondered why it still charged the energy.
"Discharge!" shouted Violet
The canine Pokémon released it's enemy. Shocking the snake, causing it to faint, shocking the two men, causing them to flee along with everyone else.
"That was good, now, Jolteon, return you should rest." Violet said. He was growing attached to the Pokémon despite that fact that it wasn't his. In the commotion he had forgotten all about Tyrogue, who reminded him with a nasty punch to the groin. "Uuff!" grunted Violet. Oh yeah, Tyrogue. Hm.. what do about Jolteon, I guess.. I guess that taking one Pokémon wouldn't hurt. "OK, gang, lets go. Tyrogue, Jolteon lets move out. He recalled the the dog and threw a Poké Ball at the small purple Pokémon. It relaxed and was willing caught. Violet held them close to his body as he exited the lab. "Well, I guess my journey starts here. With my two Pokémon. I shall call Jolteon, Vanilla and the Tyrogue.. hm.. the Tyrogue will be.. Cinnamon. Yeah. " His excitement quickly grew to disappointment as he realized that leaving would make him a criminal, he stole a Pokémon, and broke into a lab. However, if he gave it back there could be chance that he wouldn't be a bad guy. Coming to the conclusion that it would be best to leave, and not be caught, he left. However, he did leave a note at Oak's lab explaining everything, just to calm his nerves. I mean, he would be gone by then, no way would he get caught. So, with a saddened look in his eyes and a fake smile, he left Pallet. Not only did he leave Pallet, but he left his home, and his memories.
