Ahh, sorry. I thought that if they don't like each other, they won't lay an egg ^^"
Thanks.

Another thing, if it says "Your pokemon refuse to go near each other," then it means they will not breed. If it says anything other than that, the two will breed, although it can take up to 5 minutes for an egg to pop out. Keep in mind I'm only talking about Ditto here.
No..Ditto USED to have a gender in FR/LG

Hey! Aren't there any other sites, besides smogon, that tells differents kinds of movesets for pokemon? Cause smogon.com is not giving other kinds of movesets for other pokemon. Like what about Eevee and all of it's evolutions learning Flail and Endure, and Donphan learning Endeaver and Ice shard at the same time, and other kinds of movesets for pokemon that smogon doesn't have?

It's because Smogon is a resource for competitive movesets that actually work. Sure, those strategies would make for a neat little novelty, but the effectiveness those tactics would have in a real battle would be very low. There are a couple other sites, but they're all subpar. Smogon probably the most trustworthy site to get trusted movesets from.

Erm, Serebii did, once upon a time, but their movesets kinda...let's not go there. I don't know if they still do. Anyhow, what does this got to do with breeding?

Well..... Because there are some movesets that are really good. Like Donphan learning Endeaver and Ice shard. That's a useful combination attack when it battles against pokemon that it's weak against like water and grass types.

You neglect that Donphan's pitifully low speed probably won't let it use endeavor in time anyway. Besides, why would Donphan ever be battling those kinds of Pokemon in regular situations anyway? You would switch out to a Pokemon that could handle those types of Pokemon instead of keeping Donphan in. Those kinds of movesets are gimmicky for those Pokemon and don't perform well in real battles with other people at all. Let Pokemon that actually have the proper stats and such for that tactic use those tactics.

What would I need to breed to get a Hoppip with Encore? And what moves would the parents have to know? I'm a total nub when it comes to Egg Moves.

Female Hoppip with male Clefairy, Clefable, Togetic, Togekiss, Plusle, or Minun. The males need to know encore.

I came across an unusual situation recently. Keep in mind that I'm still somewhat new to this whole 'breeding' thing, since I don't think I've looked into it since my days in Silver. Anyways:

I put my sceptile and ditto into the daycare center of my Diamond cartridge. After doing some stuff, I notice on the daycare checker whatsit that there's an egg! Well, that made me happy, so I made some space in my party and boom, an egg for me!

As I took a couple of steps away from the daycare guy, BAM! Another egg! So, I get that egg too and then I get my pokemon out of that love-nest cleverly disguised as a daycare center.

Soon after that, I got to thinking: is getting two eggs at once normal? Or did I somehow encounter a bug?

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's a bug. Or at least I've never heard of anybody getting two eggs at once. Has it happened multiple times? It's probably something to do with your particular game cartridge.

It's only happened once so far, since this has been my first shot at breeding since silver. It might have something to do with my cartridge, but I did get it brand new quite a while back.

Its not a bug.
an egg can appear from any time after taking an egg away or leaving a pokemon at the daycare.

I think the game uses its rng system to decide if the egg appears.
The way i think it works is:
A set of numbers between "x" and "y" decides whether the egg appears. The numbers "x"-"y" are part of a larger set of numbers "w"-"z".
The numbers within that larger set that are not in the "x"-"y" set say that an egg will NOT appear.
If the first number says that an egg doesn't appear, the game will determine a new number within the "w"-"z" range with every 255 steps you take. and it will continue to do so until it comes up with a number that is within the "x"-"y" range and an egg appears.

And again, im not 100% positive on this.
I'm just making conjectures based on some information i read a year or two ago and cant quite remember completely.

Also, in case this isnt clear,
"w" is either 0 or 1. whatever the game starts its number system at.
and "z" is some (probably very) large number.
while "y" is probably also 0 or 1. and i think that "z" is 255. but it all depends on the range that the number system gives it. It might be different with different pokemon as well. Like other pokemon may have a higher chance of creating an egg (e.g. when one pairing isnt as compatible as another).

And the more the two like each other, the more likely two Pokemon will egg spawn. Such increased interest can be affected by same species and Original Trainer numbers (don't use two different OT Magikarp in Sinnoh/Kanto). Other thingies may also speed it up.

Aqua Jet and Dragon Dance is an illegal moveset on Totodile. It can't be bred with both.

In my opinion, the best is Legendary Pokemon's, the same one Serebii uses: http://www.legendarypokemon.net/javacalc.html
Choose Pokemon, level, nature, put in stats and EVs, and hit calculate IVs.

MetalKids allows for use of multiple levels and input of more info for a more precise calculation.

Flail and Aqua Jet isn't illegal, breed Aqua Jet to Totodile with the normal way, and Croconaw learns Flail at Level 24 (22 if it's a Totodile) in Pt/HG/SS.
