    So yeah. I make stuff out of pixels.

    I also have an art topic, go check that out. ;3

    My art is kind of irrelevant to the forum, since I haven't made any pokémon sprites for like a year, so all I have is people, and a hedgehog.

    Typhoon the Hedgehog belongs to Herman, but the others are all mine.

    Everything is custom, except some of the pallettes.

    For the first thumbnail, I just have to say that he looks good, but however, for the third template, it looks like he's sticking out his middle finger. This could be just me, though.

    The rest is really good. I just have a problem with the third template on the first thumbnail.

    your poses are great. i hope that's his new shining ring that flint is displaying... (^_^)

    these are great! i really don't have anything to crit on them. the only thing that i was wondering is what is the second sprite of? it looks like a guy caught up in sewer sludge... it looks good nevertheless...

    Sewer sludge? He's a mage. That's a robe. Robes are kinda tricky... xP;;

    Ooh! non existing ring! nevertheless, it is a great series of sprites.

    for the robe, try to leave an opening in the torso somewhere, that might make it look more "robe like". i think it is just to baggy in general to be a robe though... he looks like he's a grimer ^_^

    anyways, your sprites are still great! and dont worry if they're not poke related, the forum says this sections for anything "pixel art related"... this is more relavent than my nascar sprites...

    Update: First attempt at a D/P style fakémon. First pokémon sprite I've done in a long time.

    I am not at all satisfied with it and I'm pretty sure it deviates massively from the original style. If you put it next to any D/P sprite, there's an obvious difference in style. If anybody could point me towards a tutorial or give me some tips on how to replicate the style, I would be very grateful.

    Harsh crits please - but they must be constructive. If you're just going to say "Oh, that's terrible, you put the original artists to shame, I could do so much better, they're ugly," I shall ensure that righteous judgment is passed upon you after the Catnarok.

    I quite like it :D I like how you did the eyes. However, there's something dodgy on the stomach which makes it look like its skin is being pulled back. Icky O_o Also, the wing..things on the head look very copy-and-paste-y, make the ones on our left (the right of the fakemon's head) in proportion, or in perspective, whatever the word is.

    You thought of a name for it??

    I'm not sure what you mean about the stomach. Sorry.

    I actually did them both of the wings from scratch individually. I think the original plan was to have them at a different angle, but it somehow ended up looking like it was supposed to be three-quarter-view.
     
    it's just a part of the lines on the stomach, it looks like a folder corner of paper or something. It doesn't look right. Ah well, apart from that, it's nicely done.

    Iristod, the Flaming White Spirit
    "White Spirit" is an organic cleaning solvent. It's also highly flammable and it's an irritant. White Spirit is also called a Stoddard Solvent (that's where I got the other half of the name).

    I made an update on the sprite, most notably I redid the eyes:

    The fakemon sprite looks awesome, and this was your first time making pokemon sprite from scratch. Keep the good work up and you'll get even better. BTW, I do think the sprite looks better without the back wing.
