Hiya, I was wondeing if it would be worth using a twin system of Windows XP(at school) and Windows Vista (At home) on my laptop.
I have 3.00 Ghz and 1gb of ram.
Is it a good Idea?
I'm looking for some good (When I say good,
I mean you can hold your own by yourself)
N**i Zombies players, to form a team or even a
clan, to play with casually.
Send me a PM with your Highest Level and your PSN,
and I'll get back to you.

Are you talking about dual-booting the two operating systems? If that's the case, your system should be able to run both without a problem (though a little more RAM wouldn't hurt for the Vista side of things). However, I'm not sure why you'd want to do this unless this is your first time trying Vista and you want something to fall back on if it doesn't work out. Is there a reason you need both of them? Depending on what you use your computer for, either one should work fine both at school and at home.

Also, Windows Seven is coming out some time in the near future (though don't quote me on that one) and from my experiences with the beta, it's worth waiting for if you're considering upgrading.

Thanks ^^, my computer is mostly used at school, so I need XP to fall back on if something goes wrong.
Also, I may wait for Windows Seven, thanks for the tip

Windows Seven = \7ista
Why wait? <3
Because they are actually rather different if you actually start looking at system performance. Windows 7 uses less resources and can be run on a less powerful machine than Vista does at the same settings.

Plus, they did change quite a few interface elements that actually make 7 pretty nice to use once you get used to them.

The Windows 7 shell is going to be completely redone to be more efficient than the Windows Vista shell. Right now, in the beta phase, a good portion is done, but there are still a good number of components that use Vista shell components.

Anyway, you should be fine. My only worry is that 7/Vista (whatever you choose) will run a little slowly with that amount of RAM. I set up my brother's compter with 7 and it is a little laggy at 1.5GB of RAM.
