I'm only going to list four. Not because I don't like dubs, but rather because I can only think of four that really come to mind as fantastic. I generally prefer dubbed anime because subtitles detract attention away from the artwork, and in fansubs they can get downright cluttered and annoying.

1) Cowboy Bebop -- There's no real contest here, in my opinion. The English version of Bebop was seriously better than the original.

2) Akira (2001 version) -- The new Akira dub was a major improvement over the earlier attempt, especially with Kaneda and Tetsuo.

3) Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (2005 version) -- Since this was a Miyazaki film, they gathered some real Hollywood talent for this one.

4) Digimon Tamers -- This might be nostalgia talking, but I think that the American version of Digimon was in some ways more entertaining than the original. While it openly recognized that Digimon isn't a premise that's worth taking completely seriously, it also did justice to the dark and serious aspect of the show. The censors also didn't pay much attention for this series.

10.) Dragon Ball GT (FUNimation Entertainment).
I heard GT's dub was HORRIBLE. Especially the rap.

1) Naruto
2) Cowboy Bebop
3) One Piece (FUNimation... well, duh, the 4KIDS dub is a perfect example of how NOT to do a dub)
4) Fullmetal Alchemist
5) Bleach

The only English dub I've ever liked was Outlaw Star. The dubbing group actually did a good job capturing who the characters were, and the voices matched very well; not to mention the fact that nothing was cut on release (though it was censored for broadcast). This basically addresses my two concerns when listening to English dubs: that the dubbed voices never seem to fit the characters in my mind, whereas they do for the Japanese dub; and that the North American release is usually censored (technically not related to the dubbing itself, I suppose). For the record, I still liked Outlaw Star better with subtitles, but I didn't dislike it dubbed.

I won't name any names for the first, because people tend to get sensitive when I start trashing the quality of the dub, and my first example is on a few peoples' top lists here.

The most obvious example for the second point is one of my favorite series, Cardcaptor Sakura. The North American release (called "Cardcaptors") had all of the romantic subtext removed, which is where a lot of the series' charm came from, in my opinion. Also, the music was changed for the worse, which seriously affected the tone of some scenes.

1. Fruit's Basket - I could not stand a lot of the original voices in the Japanese dub
2. Fullmetal Alchemist - Loved the Japanese version, but it could be due to the fact that I saw the dub first, I just ended up loving it so much more
3. Outlaw Star - For reasons already stated
4. Cowboy Bebop - ^
5. Digimon Tamers - This is only based on the dub itself, not the editing of content, I loved the English cast much more than their Japanese counterparts

1. FullMetal Alchemist - I love Ed's voice. Especially when he spazzes out.
2. Lucky Star - Konata FTW! And they have some good voices out there.
3. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Haruhi has a good dub voice.
4. ...

That's it for me. I don't really watch the dubs, cuz the original people appeal to me better.
I'm a major fan of Japan.

EDIT: Added Haruhi.

Not in particular order...

1. Fruits Basket
2. Fullmetal Alchemist
3. Naruto
4. Outlaw Star
5. Cowboy Bebop

That is all I can think of. I watch the anime mostly subbed first and then dubbed. But these anime I listed I can make a exception(well except Naruto..watch it subbed too). They had a great dub and it was nice to see. ^^ They had a great voice cast and they really bring out the character of what they were playing.

I didn't like it, that's why I didn't list it.

1. Ghost In The Shell
2. FullMetal Alchemist
3. Bleach

I can't really name ten, since it's hard for most dubs to impress me.

I have to say that Ghost In The Shell does an excellent job with the English dub for several reasons.

For one thing, from a westerner's point of view, the humor and punchlines to jokes in the original Japanese dub may be difficult to grasp at times because of different sentence structure and vocal inflection. While I can understand and laugh at the jokes in both, I would rather hear them spoken in English because it feels more natural as English is my native tongue to begin with, but each little humorous bit has also been perfectly translated for the western sense of humor. The dub actors fit each character they've been assigned to as well: with Batou's cynical yet playful and serious attitude being especially difficult to grasp, yet executed so well by Richard Epcar.

I just like the voice cast for FMA and Bleach; their actors fit each character especially well also.

Just to throw my list out there, or at least part of it. Not in any particular order, and i'm kinda lazy to order them right now...

Baccano!
[Funimation] - This is series is one of those shows that actually takes place in America, putting it right in dubber's territory. Full of Brooklyn accents and everything. Very enjoyable, especially for this kind of show. Definitely worth getting.
Haruhi [Bandai] - Not counting that one anti-piracy Live-action stunt Bandai pulled, it's nice that they at least took the ideas of the fans for a change
When They Cry (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) [Geneon] - This is one of those dubs that i started watching because I loved the non-dubbed series and planned on buying it if the dub was good. It was probably also because someone told me it was good.
BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad [Funimation] - Probably one of the most amazing dubs I've seen. Since the theme is music, or more specifically, rock, Funimation decided to redo all the songs, and they're awesome. It's one of those series I'd like to have an American soundtrack for.
Elfen Lied [ADV] - Okay, so I haven't actually seen the Japanese version yet since my friend and I marathoned the dub, but it was pretty good.
Digimon [First three seasons, Saban] - Being the only three dub seasons I've seen, the digimon series was great, hands down.
Power Rangers (Super Sentai) [Various over the years] - Okay, so it's not really an anime, and it's not exactly an English dub, but i gotta give them props for being able to bring Super Sentai over for 15+ years
Just about anything Geneon - I've generally viewed Geneon titles as the best because they pick up the non-super-fanbase shows and dub them well. Too bad they're out of business, hopefully they'll finish up their series and distribute them through Funimation again.

And for fun, dubs I need to see at some point:
Nanoha
Buso Renkin
Fate/Stay Night - Seen some of the dub and it was great, didn't get all of the voices though, so it's here.
Various other shows that I can't think of right now
