I've been infected with a pretty stubborn semi-parasite here. I've tried Avast!, Ad-Aware, Windows Defender (lol), and the anti-virus that came with my ISP to get it off. My last resort is AVG because if that doesn't work and I can't find any other anti-malware software that can get rid of this thing, I'll have to use Hijack This. It's obviously pretty new, because Lavasoft didn't even detect it. (And it's labeled '2009') Does anyone have any suggestions before I try to internally nagivate my system files?

Though this problem was solved, did you ever try Spybot: Search and Destroy? It's just the same as Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, only it gets things done much faster and more efficient, from what I've come to know, than Malwarebytes' program.

Well.. for me, at least. Don't know about other people.

spybot does have a full system search sadly and only searches for some things so yeah, that's why it's faster

And to follow up on Shinjiro's post, Malwarebytes is the only program on the market known to be able to completely remove Spyware Removal 2009 and it's many other forms in addition to being one of the top rated anti-malware programs available. Spybot only does spyware/adware - Malwarebytes takes care of it all.

Is malwarebites software free or do I have to pay for it?
It has a free trial version, which can be used for scanning and removal. The full version also has a task scheduler and a real-time protection feature.
