P.S. = I guess the most Beautiful BUT Annoying Pokemon when attempting to get one in the Games is Milotic, don't you agree?
Nostalgia. Last log-in was 2009. Lots have changed ever since.

Gyarados is best when it comes to attacks and offense; hands down.

I'd have to say that Vaporeon is best when it comes to looks. Golduck coming in a close second. I don't like too many water Pokemon, though... so...

Gyarados competitively, while Swampert and Vaporeon (I love Wish <3) is close. Other than competitive, Empoleon, Golduck, Wailord, or Swampert. =3

Kyogre is far and away the greatest Water-type in the game.

Outside of uber Pokemon, it is Swampert. Gyarados might be better offensively on the competitive-side, it blows as an in-game Pokemon. Swampert has versatility that no other Water-type can offer. Having both STAB Water AND Ground attacks is unparalleled.

Water has always been my second favorite type of Pokemon, next to Steel.

There are a couple amazing water Pokemon:

Milotic would have to be my favorite. She can wall like you wouldn't believe, and her offensive powers aren't too shabby either, considering she makes a better duel wall than anything else.

Starmie is one of the more dreaded special sweepers in the game; she can easily OHKO half of the most commonly used sweepers. And to add to that, she's bulky enough to take a hit when she needs to.

But I must say, as far as overall amazingness goes, I would have to vote Swampert. That thing has demolished my team on more than one occasion. It's got amazing defense, decent special defense (if EV'd right, it can take almost any non-Grass type special attack), and it has a STAB Earthquake to back it up, and anyone who is in competitive battling knows how nice that is.

Those are, in my opinion, the top three water Pokemon. Vaporeon needs a mention too, simply because it can be so damn annoying in trying to take down when played right, but I haven't used her enough to really comment.
