I was the first one to point out Diglett and Wailord by the way.

I heard about the Skitty and Wailord thing and I was thinking.

"I wonder how many other Pokemon Wailord can be breed with."

So I looked it up and said:

"Wow, that's a lot, I wonder what the smallest Pokemon it could it breed with be."

So I looked up the smallest Pokemon and there were a lot of Pokemon that were 8 inches tall but out of all of them Diglett was the only one that could breed with Wailord, so then I thought:

"Seriously, Diglett? A Diglett can breed with a Wailord? That makes even less sense then Skitty!"

So then I got this idea:

"Why don't I make a comic about bizzare breeding?"

So, I made it with diglett and wailord in one of the panels but most people didn't look at it. A few months later someone started a pokemon comic contest so I decided to send in my 'breeding for eggs' comic in.

A few weeks later everybody was starting to talk about Diglett and Wailord being able to breed.

Its really strange and I must be odd for imagining how it all goes down considering Digletts shape and Wailords "dude"! Im weird, hate me.

Guess what, Pokemon don't have sex. So there's nothing wrong with a massive whale breeding with a mole.
Lol. I don't get breeding though. If it's an egg, why do you need the guy? If you pretend that it's only an egg, it's not that suprising.

I never noticed this, and all this time I thought HSOWA was painful...

I guess we found something a lot stranger. I mean seriously.....How the heck do they "make it" to the egg?

As mentioned, Pokemon do not sexually reproduce. According to the game and show, Celebi appears whenever two "compatible" Pokemon are together and leaves them an egg to take care of. Assume the eggs are/were spontaneously generated by Arceus/Mew.

This further proves my theory that wailord is a sperm whale.
OMIGOD.

That was freakin' hilarious.

But yeah, that's seriously weird. I would get even more freaked out if it was like, Lugia with Caterpie or something.

That would be weird.

I'd hate to say this, but anyone can look at a breeding list and find out for themselves (which means they don't necessarily have to learn this from you). It's hard to say that you were the first one to notice this for this reason because someone had to compile said breeding lists. =/ If anything, I'd say the first people to point out Wailord-on-Diglett action is whoever got the breeding information first. After that, it's most likely coincidence that people noticed. (For example, I just looked at a breeding list when I first learned about it awhile ago.)

That being said, yeah, it's amusing, but I personally believe that Wailord's placement in the ground breeding group at all is yet another item to add to the list of things that prove game designers do their jobs under questionable substances. (Another example of breeding crack: Muk poisons anything it touches, but it sure can get it on with a lot of things.)

In conclusion, HWOSA and HWODA falls apart, as there is no "hawt", "on", or "action" involved.

I have shattered your fantasies. Now take your hands out of your pants and start contributing to society.

wailord and digglet can make an egg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what hatches from it
If the Wailord is female then a wailmer, if Diglett is female then a Diglett.

NONE of the Pokemon, including Muk, have to "touch" anything to produce an egg.
Except whatever is fertilizing any egg that Muk lays, given the fact that it leaves trails of bacteria and such all over the place, meaning the mate is dead if it got close to anything Muk left behind.

Also, it depends on how the egg is fertilized. If fertilized outside of the body (which really only happens in water-dwelling animals in actual biology... and even then, not all water-dwelling animals do it that way), then, yes, it's just a matter of the male squirting his stuff all over the egg. If fertilized internally (a la most animals -- including, yes, birds and reptiles that afterwards lay the egg... because otherwise, the sperm wouldn't penetrate the hard outer shell), then you're still looking at two animals getting it on. The fun thing about Pokémon is that it never specifies which method the little buggers use, not that we particularly want to know.

Yes, I'm a geek. Just in case you wanted to point that out.

I know, I just find it weird that no one seem to know about it untill I mentioned it is all.
Probably because even if Diglett is a tiny ground-type, it's just not as funny as imagining a male pink Pokémon like Skitty on a huge female Wailord. *shrug*
