I switch between Firefox and Chrome. Chrome is definitely the faster browser, however it has a fair amount of quirks that can be really annoying, like occasionally a tab won't close or something. Firefox obviously has the add-ons, and seems to be a little more stable than Chrome. I'm not going to say which is the better browser, but at the moment I'm using Chrome.

lol...my bad....ill start msg u before i post so u can tell me what to add...k?
lol, you don't have to make a message to me if you don't want to, but okay.

It is all about Firefox and Opera to me. Firefox has the customization and the spell checks in default, but Opera to me is more organized, neat and fast to surf. However, many users don't know what the Opera software is. I give them both a tie.

In second place, I have to give it to Google Chrome, it is pretty creative. They say its safe, but that's what they all say. ;]

In third place, it is the Apple Safari, nice design, but I don't like the low speed of it.

And in last place, it is the Microsoft Internet Explorer. This is my default web browser so it can match up my Windows computer. But I am not just going to abandoned it, I still like it. The reason why I put this in last place is because Internet Explorer is plain with less features compaired to the others I have said.

There are other unpopular web browsers like SeaMonkey, Camino, Konqueror, Amaya, Flock, etc; I would just prefer the popular ones today. I don't need more than five for now.

The main browser that lags me is Safari, I usually go back to the Mozilla Firefox or Opera. And when I'm in the mood for the Apple Safari again, I go back to it.

Real men don't need a browser. I wrote a program that requests a page and displays the HTML source on screen, and I render it mentally.

In all seriousness, though, I am using Mozilla Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 with Adblock Plus (EasyFilter; RIP, Rick, you did great things).

For those of you that claim Chrome or Safari is faster, you have not tried Mozilla Firefox 3.1 Beta 3; I guarantee it. For the record, there won't actually be a 3.1; they've decided to rename it 3.5, as the scope of changes is far greater than they initially thought.

Update: I am now using Mozilla Firefox 3.5 Beta 4.

I will get Opera 10, Google Chrome 2, Safari 4, Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 3.5 when ever they come out. I am not in the rush or anything. But, lol, who would be in the rush for active web browsers that get updated on time?

What? Internet Explorer 8 is out already? I better get it added to my web browser collection. I see the release date for IE 8 was March 19, 2009.

I use Mozilla Firefox, I just switched cause a friend from school told me that Internet Explorer gives you more viruses.

Is that true?
Sort of. Pretend there's a giant neon sign when you're on the internet that says "INFECT ME!" and points to you. Using Firefox is like getting rid of that sign.

Sort of. The RTM release of IE8 has passed already, but GA is still somewhere off in the future (RTM = release to manufacturing, GA = general availability).

I use and recommend Firefox (and the no-script plug-in as a minimum)

I also have used most of the top browsers for testing purposes..

I have the popular Aero Fox. There are some more good add-ons like NASA Night Launch, Noia 2.0 (eXtreme), Vista-aero, ACE Safari Foxdie, myFireFox, RedShift V3 and PitchDark. As for the no-sctipt plug-in, I always leave that on minimum.

Safari 4 Beta
Much less laggy than its predecessors and I love it.
Meh, I don't get tested software, I just wait patiently until the real version of software releases out.

Firefox here... bad experiences with some browsers *cough*Safari*cough*...
IE 7 is solid, but is lacking in its update frequency, leaving you very vulnerable if you tend to have risky browsing habits.
Safari is very, very, very buggy, at least the one I can download for my computer.
Netscape Navigator is no longer supported.
Never tried Opera, because I assumed it had a price tag on it...
Also, Google Chrome is lacking in some regards...

I use Opera. Lol, I tried all the free browsers there are to see which one is the fastest. x3
This. I used to use IE, since it started up faster than Firefox, and at the time the differences in regular browsing speed wasn't big enough for me to change, so I stuck with it. Then IE started slowing down, and I wanted to try the alternatives. So I tried Safari and Opera, and gave Firefox an actual chance, and Opera started up fastest and felt more comfortable, so I stuck with it.

And now that I'm used to it and all the great features it has -- Speed Dial, Mouse Gestures, Notes, etc -- I don't think I'll ever change.

Firefox never really appealed to me. Without add-ons/plugins/extentions/whatever, it isn't anything special. And then after I got all these "amazing" add-ons, they slowed it down. It also has a bunch of little things that bug me. I don't like how it automatically hides the tab bar when there's only one tab. I now know there's an option that changes that, but at the time I didn't. It made it hard to open a blank tab. One TINY thing that ANNOYS ME SO MUCH is a scrolling problem. When you middle click to scroll faster/easier/etc, on most other browsers I've tried, when you get to where you are, you can simply scroll up or down slightly, and it will take it out of the fast scroll mode, or whatever you call that. But in Firefox, it doesn't. You have to click AGAIN to take it out of fast scroll mode. I know, it sounds stupid, but I can't stand it. It makes me insane.

Right now I'm using Firefox.
I used to use IE due to my parents not wanting to get a new browser, but I've noticed it getting progressively slower, so I got Firefox.
Opera is also used on occasions, but the other browsers I haven't bothered using yet.

This problem (if it can be called one) doesn't exist in version 3.0.
