I did this for an English class assignment, it's not much but here you go:
Just because you're dreaming, it doesn't mean you're asleep.
Just because you don't succeed the first time, it doesn't mean you can't try again.
Just because you're rejected, it doesn't mean you won't be accepted.
Just because you die, it doesn't mean you'll be forgotten.
Just because you're reading, it doesn't mean you're not having fun.
Just because you're not doing anything, it doesn't mean there's nothing to do.
Just because you sit in the back of the class, it doesn't mean you can ignore authority and be loud, annoying and obnoxious. (You won't really get this one unless you're in my English class.)
Just because today wasn't a good day, it doesn't mean tomorrow won't be awesome!
Just because there's nothing on TV, it doesn't mean the outside world ceases to exist.
Just because you think you're dumb, it doesn't mean you are.
Just because you're lazy, that doesn't mean you shouldn't get off your a** and do something!
Just because you're sad, it doesn't mean you can't turn that frown upside-down!
Just because you can't play chess, it doesn't mean you can't learn.
Just because you act tough, it doesn't mean you actually are.
Just because I'm quiet, it doesn't mean I (can't) or don't want to talk.
Just because you know who you are, that doesn't stop you from losing yourself.
Just because you have a different opinion, it doesn't mean you can't respect other people's.
Just because I said so.
Just because I told you so.
Just because you have a cellphone, it doesn't mean you can use it in class. (Another jab at my English class.)
Just because it's raining, that shouldn't stop you from running outside.
Just because you're good at something, it doesn't mean you can't do better.
Just because stars are millions of lightyears away, it doesn't mean you can't reach up into the night sky and grab one.
The whole point of the assignment was to write something that started with "Just because..." I like some more than others... I think the first and last ones are the best, with my jabs at my class following behind. I'm not sure they even read other people's submissions (it's done through Google Groups) since they can't be bothered to read a book (read a text in the middle of the class when they should be learning? No problem! Every freaking one!)
