Well.. Happy Easter everybody!

I was just wondering. How many kids/young adults/adults here actually go to mass on Easter? I usually do not like to go to mass. I believe that I do not need to go to some special place in order to worship my God. I get a lot more from praying by myself before I go to bed than I do sitting there listening to these passages and songs that I get nothing out of.

Anyway. I went today. Just because it was Easter.

I don't like going as I already specified.

Another thing I do not like is praying before we eat dinner. It is not that I do not like the dinner but the priest keeps preaching not to say a prayer just because it sounds good. He says you should preach from your own words and say what really matters to you. Yet my stepmom always insists we do this one prayer. Every night..

Nope, athiest. :D
^ This, in a nutshell. I would probably fall asleep at a mass, and I'd rather stay at home instead of going for no reason. It'd insult the religious peoples in the building.

No. I slept in this morning.
I go to a Christian school so I have to go to chapel every wednesday, but I'm actually agnostic.
School chapel is boring enough. I don't think I could sit through church or mass.

Is there not a single person on this forum that is religious? o.O

But the entire time I was there I kept thinking that the priest probably thought that Pokemon was evil. I laughed to myself the entire time I was there. =]

I'm religious, just not Christian.

Just because someone doesn't go to mass for Easter doesn't mean they're not religious. Don't see a lot of Jews or Muslims goin', hmm? XD

My mom, who is a catholic, is always insisting that we go every Easter, but it never happens. I myself am theistic, but I don't currently practice any religion.

What I really love about Easter is just getting together with family and friends that I don't see often.
That is always good.

So what does everyone think about these priests saying that Pokemon is evil? Have you heard some of the things they say? It is hilarious how they make Pokemon out to be some kind of cult for devil worshippers. ROFL!

Yup, went to church today as I do every Sunday. My younger brother was in the Children's choir, so it was to treat to watch him on stage. I'm glad he wasn't nervous, especially being in front of all those people, including those watching online.

I slept in. >_> But I usually go. We go early and get a seat, then afterwards, the church holds a massive Easter Egg hunt for the children. It's nice. ^_____^ But then again, the masses at my church are usually interesting, the priest just talks about recent (humorous) events in his life in the Homily and the congregation have a good laugh, lol.
