Too often for my liking - I have a great life but get frustrated and upset easily, especially when it comes to my family. At the moment my dog is injured, and that's upsetting me quite a bit, but next week it'll be something else that upsets me.

I only ever shed any tears at things that very clearly strikes an emotive cord, not only when I'm depressed, but when I'm happy as well. Something would need to have had an incredible impact on me to create such a sentimental moment, and I can name one or two things from the top of my head that can do exactly that for me. I tend not to pay too much mind to things that can make me angry or severely disheartened, that's a momentary lowness. But without...a particular something I either shed tears of happiness or sadness, perhaps both, mainly the second; either way it holds intense value if it can cause that sort of reaction. It sounds dubious I know, but it's the way I feel.

I never, EVER cry at school. NEVER.
But at home I cry quite a bit. I cried because I couldn't find my lucky pencil and then I found it in my shoe.I cried going through old video games. I cry at odd things like that but I actually never cry at sad things ... just odd things. wow. i sound crazy.

I cry wayyy more than most do, though it's not too surprising since within this past year I've been dealing with a lot of crap and I'm still trying to forget certain things that have happened in my life, some a little while ago, some many months ago. On average I cry about 1-2 times each day. :/ Yeah, not good, I know...

I don't cry that often. Very few things are that moving for me. I think it's kind of lame, when I hear people cry about this and that and I'm lucky if I even got teary-eyed from it. I have to be really stupidly depressed about my own life to actually cry. I did recently, actually -- and, sure enough, it was pretty stupid of me.

I think the most embarrassing time I cried was during my 17th birthday at school. I was in my math class, and I was just so... ugh, it's kind of hard to describe how I felt. (It was stupid, that's for sure.) I ended up having to go to the teacher and explain. She started singing to people on their birthdays, when she remembered, after that. It wouldn't have been so bad if she was just a bit better at it. It was all my fault. D:

I don't cry too much, only when I'm really frustrated or touched by an amazing or sad story, song, or movie.

I get upset over things, but I don't cry about them or make a fuss. I haven't cried in a while, but I do have easily-hurt feelings. I never show it at school, but when I'm with people I can trust I don't really hide emotions. The only thing that had me getting teary-eyed in a long time was this really sad commercial about homeless/abused cats and dogs. Plus, it had really sad music, that stuff gets me everytime. The faces just look so sad. =/ Even when I'm really depressed, I don't usually cry.

Physical pain is pretty much the same. As long as I can remember I've never cried about physical stuff, I just get up and laugh about it. I broke my arm a year ago and I didn't cry at all, but I was in some intense pain. Instead of crying I laugh. xD

Not very often at all. Not because i'm trying to make myself seem "tough" or because "crying is for wimps" (I think quite the opposite infact, I feel people who aren't afraid to hide their emotions are a lot braver), just because it takes a LOT to get me teary-eyed. That's in terms of both physical and emotional pain.

I'm not really a very emotional person tbh =/

I don't cry a lot. I've learned over the years, in different circumstances, that crying kind of shows weakness, in some ways. I've become desensitized to a lot of things through certain happenings in my life. So I hardly cry anymore.

The last time I cried, though, was about ten minutes ago.

I accidentally shut my finger in between the fridge and freezer handles. I pulled it out and just stood there in pain, and all of a sudden I started crying. I didn't even mean to. I don't make any sound when I cry, so I was just standing there, holding my finger to try and stop the pain, with tears streaming down my face. Eyeliner everywhere. My brother was really concerned because, like I said, I almost never cry, unless it really hurts. He was like "Do you want me to make your sandwich for you? Here, put this ice washcloth on your finger." It was so sweet, he's never like that.

I'm a very emotional person, and it's tough for me to hold back any form of showing emotion, especially crying. My emotions are likely to be the last thing that matures in me, because even now, it's impossible for me to fight back tears if they want to come out, even in public, which is a real hassle for someone who's trying to be an adult in an adult environment such as college, and soon, the workplace. Luckily there have been very, very few recent instances, and I'm getting a whole lot better at toughing out small things without triggering auto-tears.

I'll also get choked up and shed tears even doing something as simple as listening to music, whether cheerful, mournful, or simply powerful. I'll cry during movies when no one else does, too, often simply because of the soundtrack in the context of the movie. Pokemon movies in particular, for some strange reason, strike something in me to cry. Perhaps it's a strong nostalgic feeling they bring.
Happy things bring tears to my eyes just as easily as depressing things, especially those that are nostalgic or that comfort or bring a sense of relief.
