I don't know if everyone agees with me but their effort was shameful, I woke up 4 in the morning to 20 minutes of rubbish, they come to the opponents goal then just become completely confused, why? I don't know. I know there is a lot of pressure on them but their midfield could not turn their possession into a proper opportunity. They spend five minutes at the goals then end up making a mistake, Chelsea grab the ball and are infront of their goals within seconds and can almost pull of a good shot every time. Everyone in Liverpools defence except for Skrtel were thickheaded, either Benitez told them to walk around like they had no clue or simply didn't have a clue. When the goalkeeper saved a shot they would walk away from goal instead of making a quick counterattack which is when Chelsea were most vulnerable if anyone noticed.

Two cheap goals at the start, then Chelsea returned with two more.

My favourite part of the match was when Riena fumbled the ball to give Chelsea another goal, hopefully it finally sent through the message to Benitez that he is an idiot of a goalkeeper. They need someone smart in their defensive line.

Many of you might disagree with me but this is how I felt after the match.

However shameful the town of Liverpool might be, Black Sabbath came from there and that negates anything bad they could ever do short of a holocaust.

I should probably change the title to Liverpool Football Club, which is what I meant.

He's talking about the Champions League match between Liverpool F.C and Chelsea F.C last night.

Well, I watched the match, I was expecting a boring game but it turned out to be one of the best I'd watched in a while. I can't see why you are complaining; it's a two-legged tie, and over the two legs Chelsea were the better team. That just has to be accepted and move on. Now Liverpool can focus on snatching the Premiership title away from Man Utd, which I can't see happening either.

1. I'm a liverpool fan through and through.
2. I hardly think that our performance was shameful.

We fought our best..Torres was completely off form though...And with no Gerrard I think we did well..

We went 0-2 up, went down 3-2, Came back to 3-4..4-4 in the end.

Not many teams can say that they went to stamford bridge and scored 4 goals.

So we let in 4 also, we had to nearly negate our defence completely if we even wanted to stand a chance of going through.

Our home perfomance lost it for us..Not last night's.

Don't get me wrong..I was completely gutted..But you can't say it was "Shameful".

I support Chelsea, but I've got to give Liverpool some credit. They were behind 6 - 1 at the start of the match, and to come up with a 4 - 4 game at Stamford Bridge is amazing. Sure, they shouldn't have relaxed in the second half and let in so many goals, but their play was far from disappointing and I was kept on the edge of my seat the entire match.

When was the last time someone scored 4 goals away from home against Chelsea? I for one support Reading (Woooo!), but i still watched this game. When they went 4 - 3 up i thought they were going to clinch a winner. It was a great game and Liverpool deserved something from there.

When you have two of the "Top 4" play each other, you only expect a few goals, but 8 goals (6 in a half!) was amazing!

You don't expect any goals. Most of the matches between the Top Four are boring to watch and end up as draws.

Exactly what i was trying to say. The Top 4 are so evenly matched that you don't expect much in a game.

I thought Liverpool did amazing in that game. I mean they knew they had to score goals which they did, I can't see how liverpool could be shameful as they did what was needed on the attacking side it was just that they did to much attacking they got caught out at the back far to much.

Reina on the first goal was awful and chelsea did play well, but for Liverpool to score 4 goals away is amazing.

They also beat Man U at Old Trafford 4-1 so they are a good side and I think they could take the premiership title next season.

I have to agree with Razer, the first Goal for Chelsea shouldn't've gone in. I do appeciate that Reina wasn't expecting that slight tap by, uh, Drogba, (i think) but still, from such an angle he should've been able to save that, no sweat.

Liverpool deserved to beat Chelsea, really. It was just unlucky that they weren't in form when playing their home game. It's a big shame, they really deserved to win (well, they did in the 2nd Leg).

Out of the Champion's League, and now my Gunners take you out of the Premiere League chase... Although a sad display considering Arsenal was down their starting keeper, Gallas, Adebayor, and Van Persie. Just really pathetic and to top it all off you tied at home, and let Arshavin score 4. Man a bad day to be a Liverpool fan.

Arsenal, for Champion's League.

It was tough being a Chelsea fan watching that game. I thought if we could hang on to a 0-0 until half time we'd snag the spot against Barca in the semi's. Then when we went 2-0 down my heart sank and I thought we'd completely blown it. Then after the break going 3-2 up I was thrilled. I thought we were bound to go through. Then again my heart sank as Liverpool planted 2, only needing 1 more to go! :(

Then Lampard!!!!! 4-4 final result. Chelsea win on away goals!

Nou Camp here we come! :D

I don't want to ruin your moment but semi's is where you end, this year is Barca's year, whoever they come across are up for a beating.

Liverpool aren't out of the prem yet. There still time for Man U to slip up. Can't right it off, although if Man U win tonight then it is over.

Those 4 players = Half a Gerrard.

If we had Gerrard, We would've won convincingly.
