So then first an intro. You should all know me by now so yeah. I'm making this thread cause lately I see people questioning why there are so little of one type and why so much of another.
As we know water types take up the most space. Why so? Because the Earth is covered with it by over 70%. So it would be logical to have a large number of pokemon who reside in an element that takes up the most space.
Now for Dragons well its obvious. They are a rare race and should never have too many species. Being so rare and mysterious such its the right choice.
Same thing for ghosts. They rarely cross over into our world and should be rare and a small amount of species. I think I covered the most important and I will cover other types as well.

Yeah, water and grass are obvious but there should totally be more bug types. On land, bugs are more numerous than anything else. There is a reason why there are so few Dragons but recently they went a bit overboard. They are not as rare as they should be.

True true. The legends are acceptable but GEN3 with its salamence and flygon is not. Im also surprised that there isn't a large amount of normal ground Pokemon.
Yes I agree. But for the main focus for realism, I know that this wold annoy many people and it would suck if they put a swarm in one generation, but there should be a number of weaker pokemon being Bug types.
