I don't believe I've actually cried, but there's been some scenes that it's been pretty close. ;D

Suikoden II - Nanami's death scene
Silent Hill 2 ending (More shocking than sad really)
Wild ARMs 5 ending
Chrono Cross - True ending

There's more, but none are coming to mind right now.

I forgot Silent Hill 2.

I got one of the bad endings, where the other girl gets the same disease, that nearly brought me to tears.
There's one ending where the main guy commits suicide. He drives his car into the lake as he's reading his wife's letter.

Final Fantasy IX made me cry because Zidane looked so idiotic that I didn't even get past the first 5 minutes.
They were tears of laughter.

Crying because of games is stupid.

"I want to tear myself from this place, from this reality, rise up like a cloud and float away, melt into this humid summer night and dissolve somewhere far, over the hills. But I am here, my legs blocks of concrete, my lungs empty of air, my throat burning. There will be no floating away."

I guess crying because of a film or an anime is stupid too yeah?

The most recent game that came even remotely close was Eternal Sonata.

Do not read if you don't wish to have the first ending spoiled.
Spoiler:
Polka attempting to commit suicide because Chopin died is idiotic, but the music really set the mood.

*Breaks the ice of all these 3D games*
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time.

Idc what you say, some of the chapters were sad.
It sounds completely stupid when you mention pokemon names
and the actual events like "Grovyle sacrificed himself by jumping into the portal",
so I'll keep it at that. The saddest part was the ending, when your partner
had to be erased from your time in order for you to save the world.

It really hurts you once you cling to the story and reminisce about all
the missions you and your partner had together.

There was this one part in Gears of War 2 that was extremely sad.

Spoiler:
When that guy is looking for his wife and when he finally finds her, he believes she is healthy and unharmed. However, his partner points out that his mind is playing tricks on him, and when he looks again she been sapped of pretty much all her lifeforce. He then proceeds to "end her misery".

That was pretty sad, but not enough to bring me to tears.

I can't think of any off the top of my head... But I know there's at least one..

PMD 1 and PMD 2, the first time I completed both. The endings were just so sad, IMO ; ;

Other than that... Hmm... I can't think of any others that made me sad... Though actually...

In FF VI Advance, I was so hoping that LockeXTerra would be a canon couple, but after getting Celeste and watching the conversations between her and Locke, I got really sad that there was probably no chance of LockeXTerra becoming canon (I still haven't beat the game, so don't tell me if it does or not XD), but that LockeXCeleste would become canon...

Locke is with Rachel anyway, his whole goal in the game is to revive her. I won't ruin anything for you, but all through the first half of the game, Terra and Celes are just friends to him. Shadow's story in that game is pretty sad too, and his ending is a lot sadder than the others.

If someone says FFVII, I'm going to RAGE.
This is possibly the most brilliant statement said all day. Thank you for enhancing my day.

I cried when I found out all you can do with a Golden Sun/Golden Sun: The Lost Age clear data is battle.

All sarcasm aside, I neeeeearly cried whilst playing Suikoden III, at the scene at the very end of Chapter 1 of Hugo's storyline. Basically, annoying kid died... but Hugo and friends were so sad. It is still a very emotional scene today, despite graphical advances.
