Do you apply it to your eating habits?

If the food doesn't attract dirt or anything, then sure. For example, if its a pretzel stick or a cracker. But if its an apple slice or something, then no, cause its kinda sticky-ish, and I'm not going to eat that, especially if it has carpet bits on it .__.

I'm a generally clumsy person and seem to drop food on my shirt or a table, in which case I'll generally pick it up and eat it. But if it goes on the floor, it'll go straight into the closest bin, even if the floor's as clean as possible. I guess the fact that knowing someone's probably walked all over the spot the food was dropped on just puts me off completely, although nobody else in my family seems to care.

I guess it depends on where I drop it and what food it is. XD; If it's likely to pick up dirt, I'll throw it, but if not, then I'll pick it up, wipe it a bit and eat it. :] If I drop it in my room, then yes. Anywhere else in the house is a nono.

I don't eat floor'd food. Floors are nasty.

I can sometimes eat things dropped on the ground though. Like grass lawns or in a forest. I don't know why :]

I don't user the legendary rule though. But my friends like to scream it every time anyone drops anything.
