Yes. Academically, I love knowing answers that no one else does, even if it does seem a smidge dorky. But usually it's something relevant to studying for a test or something, so it's fine because it helps us out. And sports? I don't play many sports, but yes, I am also competitive in those. Almost to the point where I burst into tears if we lose. (That used to happen when I was little...I have Asperger's Syndrome so it's a symptom of it.)

But I don't cry anymore. I just get extremely annoyed.

Writing for a contest, yes. I tend to get the swelled head XD

AND SINGING. Yes, singing. I am very competitive about voice and singing and stuff. Lordy lord. I hate when people think they sing well and better than me, and they really don't. (That sounds concieted, but I don't mention their level unless they're definitely bad.)

Yeah I am, not overly though. Just somethings. And a bit more in some things than others.

i wanna be the wind that fills your sails,
& be the hand that lifts your veil.
& be the moon that moves your tide,
the sun coming up in your eyes.
be the wheels that never rust,
& be the spark that lights you up.
all that you've been dreaming of and more,
so much more, i wanna be your everything.. <3

paired with alternative <3

I'm terribly competitive. Test grades, sports, running, and other regular competitive things. Annnd then there's the weirder ones XDDDDD! ...

Who can eat faster? Who writes neater? Who can finish their notes faster? Who knows more hurricanes that formed in 2005? Who knows more state capitals? Who's been to more places? Who is darker? Who can go longer without school french fries? Don't blink (blinking contests), keep reading (book contests)! Who knows more about Harry Potter? Who can play this instrument higher? Who can follow a beat the best? -takes breath- (breathing contests, btw). Who has more AIM away messages? Who can get the most hits in volleyball? Who has more ethnicities? Who got more candy for Halloween? Presents for Christmas? Who has more spending money?

Omggg, I could keep going on and on, but I'm really tired and I should be sleeping annndddd I just don't want to bore people :33321. Point is, the above have happened before/are happening. I hate being competitive, and I try not to be. But the point is, I am. Thankfully, I can contain it to the point where I have that little voice on my shoulder telling me to be better. When I hear that voice, I feel competitive at first, superior towards the person who I'm competing against, ashamed that I feel that way, then I forget. :]]] /longpost

It's been long but we can do it; let's make this our dream

Look to tomorrow because it's all we have. Turn up the music until the walls shake. What do we have?
Is it hope? Love? Is it nothing at all? We won't know at all until we make something of what we feel.
When that happens, we'll find the truth. We'll find what we want. And we will find ourselves, finally.
