Author's Note - Please READ
Hello, everyone and first of all, thank you for reading for clicking here. I am mecha-Robot, a porygon fan and a Fanfiction fan. This is, how do I say it? A...Debut Story, I gues. First of all let me tell you abit about Soulca.
Soulca is a pokemon that I made up and will be the only made up pokemon in this story. If you read the first Chapter, posted here you will get a picture of what Soulca looks like in your head. Soulca is a Dark and Ghost type pokemon by the way.
Anyway abit more on the story. It's based in Sinnoh. The first chapter is based when Cyrus comes back empty handed from Platinum, but from that chapter on it's about ten years later. The hero of the story IS NOT a trainer but a ranger. I have written a blurb that I will post now, if you like it read on. But before that, only the first chapter is posted now, but hopefully tomorrow or the next day I will give you Chapter two. Enjoy and I would like comments, good or bad. ;)
Blurb
After the battles that Sinnoh faced against Team Galactic all was well once again, right? WRONG. Sinnoh has become a more Darker place because a new legend has risen, Soulca. More Soulca attacks has popped up and with the new team Galactic causing trouble Sinnoh falls into the hands of evil. Only one boy can stop it- Steve.
Join Steve as he dives deep into the adventure of trying to save Sinnoh from destruction. Laugh along with him has be grows from a young boy into a Pokemon ranger, and gasp in awe as he realises that he has special powers- he can talk and understand all Pokemon.
So take your first steps into...the new Sinnoh region.
Chapter One- The New Galactic
Edward paced his office, taking long strides. He was thinking. He was thinking hard. How could he be stuck like this? Ironically He was full of confidence last night, he was full of ideas. Now however he was worried. He was about to make a speech that had to make a good impression. He had to prove the crowd that they were right in picking him to be the next team galactic boss. You see after Team Galactic's second failure they blamed their leader and the commanders. Cyrus was thrown away like bad rubbish. But he had deserved it- he had lied to his loyal team. Now as the team's new leader he had to give a plan and choose the next commanders. The choosing wasn't the problem, it was the plan. He thought that he had got it all figured out last night now he wasn't sure. Would they think that Leader Stragon (his code name. His real name was Edward) had delivered to them. Or he would also be tossed away like Cyrus and the old commanders.
'Sir,' came a voice over a loud speaker, 'If you're ready.'
Edward stood up straight and crossed the room. He may look strong and ready, but he wasn't.

The crowd was amazing. So many grunts, male or female- All looking up at their leader. It made Edward feel powerful, but then again it made him nervous. There was a guard at the door and a large screen on the wall. When the grunts seen him, all was silent. His shiny shoes made a clunk sound as they hit the metal floor. He placed a hand on the table and spoke in the mic.
'Good day to you, my loyal friends,' he said, and cringed. He had screwed up there. He had sounded like a baby. But when he opened his eyes he saw the grunts nodding at him. He continued, feeling better already.
'After are last Leader, I'm sure you are all tired. But I would like to say that I'm nothing like Cyrus. If you hear out my plan you will see why.
In Sinnoh there is another Legendary Pokémon that we do not know about too much. It is connected with Darkri. Some say it is its' brother. All we can say is that he is stronger and more sinister. It feeds on People's souls. Yes, it eats them. It gives it power, gives it strength. It's name..is Soulca. Now it brings us onto catching Soulca. You see it may pop up unexpectedly and if it did we wouldn't be ready to catch it. However, if Soulca can't come to us then we must go to Soulca. Soulca sleeps in a small dark world. It is so small that I think that it is just a large platform. Not much of a world, I know. To open that Platform we need to bring some Legendaries together. Watch this video.'
The TV screen lit up and showed the following-
It was in a cave. It was very dark but suddenly three lights appeared. It was the three Pokémon of the lake. Their tails joined each other and made a light triangle, floating and spinning. Then at each corner appeared another Pokémon. It was the three regis. At last in the middle appeared Regigigas. There was a brilliant flash of light and Regigigas began to glow. Then it moved its giant arms into the air and created a circle. The circle got bigger and bigger and soon filled the whole cave. The camera that was taking this moved into the circle and came into a dark land. There was nothing here but darkness and indeed a platform. But sometimes there was a flicker.
'As you see, Soulca put a key in Regigigas that can only open if this is all put together. This was not a real recording by the way. This is what I found out from other people and what I found in caves. It seems that this video is a bit cursed because it is said that all who watch it die soon after.'
All the grunts gasped in fright.
'Now I know we need to get those other legands, and we need Pokémon. But unlike last time, we aren't going to steal them. We are going to catch them fairly and bond with them. I think that if we do, the Pokémon may obey us more and try to work stronger. Now then without further ado, let's check out Soulca!'
The place in the video flickered again and then with a bang the electricity all went out!
Instantly there was shouting and yelling. However, Stragon tried to take control. He took out a Pokeball and said, 'Magnezone, Flash.'
There was a crack and then a light was shone. Magnezone was hovering beside Stragon and looking around. One of the grunts asked,
'What was that?'
'I'm not sure,' said Straogn pacing, 'I think this is the curse.'
He was indeed right, because with a flash there in front of the TV screen was Soulca.
Indeed he looked like Darkri's twin. He had the same shape. But he was completely black apart from his hands, his eyes and his mouth, that was a round red circle. Everyone gasped as the sinister Pokemon glided across the room, towards Stragon.
'Magnezon, zap canon,' commanded Stragon and Magnezone obeyed. It shot two beams of electricity out from its magnets but it went right through Soulca. It hit the TV and it burst in to flames.
Screams and shouts came from the grunts.
Soulca raised a red fist and smacked Magnezone in the middle eye. There was a horrible sound as Magnezone burst into flames like the TV and was shot into the far wall.
Edward could only gawk at Soulca as it drifted towards him. Six small, black, tentacles came from it's read mouth. Each had bright red tips. Two of Soulca's hands fell on Edward's shoulders. It looked as though it was going to kiss his forehead. The tentacles all touched his forehead when the guard finally ran forward. But he was no match for Soulca. It turned on the guard and did the exact same thing as it did to Edward but this time it did suck out his souls. As soon as it did, the Guard fell to the ground shaking.
Then Soulca turned back to Edward. He just stared, nothing was going through his mind. The flames on from the TV was hot, it was spreading. Edward backed away as the sinister Pokémon closed in. His back hit a button on the wall, it was to turn the TV on.
A horrible Screeching noise filled the air. It seemed to drive Soulca crazy. It clutched it's balck head and started spinning. Then it raised its hands over its head like Regigigas had done and slammed them together. A bang, flames everywhere. Stragon fell to the ground to take cover. Then a piece of metal was peeled off the floor and tossed aside. The explosion sent it over to Edward. He didn't have time to gasp. With a smack he seen stars and fainted on the floor.

He woke with a start. A wind was wiping his face. His face was on cold and damp grass. He raised his head, a little afraid of what he would see. He was on the mountain, were the Galactic base was set. But there was nothing left of it. Bodies littered the ground, but all seemed to be breathing. Edward
stood up and peered at the sky. It was sunny.
He walked forward. There was someone standing at the edge of the cliff, what was he doing? When he got nearer he realised that it was the guard, the soulless guard.
'I'm going to jump,' yelled the guard when he seen Edward, 'I'm going to jump now. I have no more life to live!'
Edward took hold of the guard and gave him a shake.
'Take hold of yourself,' he hissed, Then he hit him over the head.
The guard fell to the ground onto his knees and began to sob.
'Sir?'
A female grunt came running over to Stragon.
'Hello,' said Stragon, 'Did Soulca get away? What about Magnezone?'
'Well yes, sir, but are you all right?'
Edward could tell that she was avoiding his last question.
'Yes, I'm fine. But about magnezone.'
'That's good, we thought you might die..'
'WHAT ABOUT MANEZONE,' yelled Stragon.
There was no avoiding it now.
'It's over here, sir,' said the grunt and she led the way.
Manezone was terrible. It was a heap of wires and metal. It was smashed...it was dead.
Edward wanted to cry, his eyes filled with tears. He had Magnemite since he was ten...
It was Soulca that did it. Soulca must be killed. If it was the last thing he did, Stragon was going to get back. He turned his back on Magnezone and walked away.....
