So guys, I'm kinda stuck. I just can't think of anything else to write. It has to be 3-5 pages (or 1500-2500 words), but I'm on 2 pages with 600 words.
The prompt is:
You will be writing an essay in whick you will need to argue a
specific thesis or opinion you have. Arguments are about YOUR passion and proving your point of view with analysis, examples, logic, and evidence. A strong thesis should not be a simplistic or obvious statement that everyone would agree with, nor is it just a matter of personal taste.
A good thesis raises an interesting, thought-provoking idea, and the essay explores that idea in depth. Use critical thinking to analyze your audience as well as your issue/subject. Length should be 1500-2500 words (3 to 5 pages, typed, double spaced). You will need to use a minimum of three outside sources and cite them using MLA format.
So yeah.. Here's what I have so far.
Video games are not a waste of time. Whether it is designing, coding, writing, or even playing, video games are very serious. You may hear comments like “why is he sitting on his butt all day playing that mind-rotting nonsense? He could be out finding a job.” In some cases that’s true. Some people do just play video games all day with nothing in return. In some cases though, they could be making money or connecting with their friends.
Video games are very profitable for the developers, players, and even third parties. The video game industry pulls in $xx per year (xx). If you’ve ever seen the credits of a video game, you’ll know how many people it actually takes for just one game. There are producers, graphic designers, storyboard artists, character developers, script writers, concept artists, musicians, and many more. That creates a lot of jobs, and encourages young teens to pursue a career in video games. Instead of just sitting around all day playing games, they can get a college education, and help make games. Players can also make their living by playing games if they’re good enough. There are all sorts of tournaments for every genre of game. The best players can go to the World Gaming Championship to compete against each other for huge cash prizes ranging from $xx up to $xx. Even local arcades and shops host tournaments for cash and prizes. Third party companies, which are mostly popular with online games like World of Warcraft, Everquest, etc., can make huge profits. Even though it’s against a game’s Terms of Service, these companies will sell you currency, items, and even level up your character. This is usually done at no cost to the company, because they use bots and scripts to do so. This is even profitable for the “little guys.” I’ve made some money selling commodities and services. There are also legitimate ventures that can net a pretty penny. There are companies that make gaming gear (computers, keyboards, mice, headphones, helper software, etc.), and even clothing.
Gaming not only promotes competition, but it also promotes cooperation. In most genres, there’s a sense of teamwork. In first person shooters, you can either be by yourself or with a team. In online role-playing games, there are usually groups of players in a guild or clan. They cooperate together to defeat bosses, complete quests, and make the game play more complex. In strategy games, you may have to join forces with someone to defeat the other player. This teamwork can include resources, armies, equipment, money, or any number of things. There’s also cooperation outside of the games themselves. Many players can choose to a part of group of players, called a clan. Not only do they just play the game together, but they talk about current issues, sports, life... just about anything. It’s like you’re hanging out with your friends, except over the internet. Clans can also open your mind to different cultures, customs and lifestyles. One of the biggest clans spans 6 continents and many countries (xx).

Yes, I know it's rather simplistic and childish, but I don't really care. I just want to turn it in, I really need the points lol.
Freedom is the freedom to say two plus two equals four. If that is granted all else will follow.
