I always find myself writing on my hand in order to remember things.
Whether it's spur of the moment ideas, or things I've been continuously putting off my hand it's gaurunteed to be filled with random scrawlings by the end of the day.

Of course then I have to remeber to look at my hand, which actually happens a lot less than you'd think. xD

Just today I had five things written down, which in the end I only ended up doing two of. >.<

Are you forgetful? How do you remember the things you need to do, or things in general?

Yeah holy frick, my memory's real bad. >__< I don't remember stuff. Some stuff I do, but other stuff I just forget.

i wanna be the wind that fills your sails,
& be the hand that lifts your veil.
& be the moon that moves your tide,
the sun coming up in your eyes.
be the wheels that never rust,
& be the spark that lights you up.
all that you've been dreaming of and more,
so much more, i wanna be your everything.. <3

My memory's great for short-term (like memorizing stuff) but sometimes I walk into a room and forget what I was going to do there xD, or put something down and 2 minutes later completely forget where I put it. =/

There's a little saying I heard before, "The things you need to remember, you end up forgetting, but the things you don't want to remember you end up memorizing." xD

In a way I'm sort of like the saying goes. Except to help me remember what I need to do, I'd write it down in a planner or agenda that I have. xD It keeps me organized and it keeps the things I need to remember not forgotten.

Forgetful? Hell yes, let me show you a few examples.

Sometimes I forget were I left my calculator only to realize I left it under my bed.

Sometimes I am sent to get a box of something at the store I know very well and I forget what the sections are.

Sometimes I tend to make a few mistakes on music when I play. I confused Vibrato for Trill before.

And hell yes, worst of all I forget what I think 5 seconds ago.

Now what was the topic of this thread again?

I'm forgetful like you wouldn't believe. >> The only way I'll remember things is if the moment has just passed to do that certain task. Or if someone asks about it or purposely reminds me. Writing things down on my arms never works because my ocd will kick in and I'll be dying inside until all of the ink comes off of my skin. Tried it once, never doing it again. But yea, situational triggers are the only way to go for me.

I'm quite forgetful. I'll remember stuff I don't need to, but when I really need to remember something, I'll usually forget it. I remember stuff that happened years ago like it happened yesterday. I can also remember important dates, but that's about it.

I usually write stuff on my arm.

You definitely are forgetful, Josephine. Forgetful enough not to use the search function, even. ;O; Sorry, just too similar to the Bad or Good memory thread.

Locked.
