I am pretty excited because I have wanted this remake ever since Emerald came out. I never thought that they would have actually made this remake, but now here it is.

I'm excited because it's Johto. Johto has many fond memories in me... <3

I think this is best reason that explains why a lot of us are excited, simply because it is the Johto.

Yes, I don't know how but the Johto region is just so amazing to lots of people.

I am pretty excited to see the whole region all over again. I sort of miss the Johto region, and now the graphics are way more better which has kept me thinking on how the cities/towns will be.

The Johto reagion really hasn't been heavily expressed on like the Kanto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, so having it back bigger and better is always a great way to make people excited.

Mainly because I will play in the Johto region again, but with lots of new features, graphics, and much better overall.

Also the curiosity about what can change.

I can't describe that feeling... It's quite strange, but happens when you know a great game is coming.

A recent blog stating they are bringing this game up after three years of working on it, and trying to add in newer features has gotten me pretty psyched to see it finally be released.

Im excited because I loved the second generation and its the one that I played the most. It was the first pokemon games I played. Yellow and Blue came after :) I have never beaten Emerald Pearl, or Diamond. But i did the gen 2 because I found it really interesting! :)

The 2nd Gen games introduced so many new things to Pokémon such as Dark Types, new features, and I'm really excited to see what it can bring in this time.

Because the original Gold and Silver versions were the games that made me like Pokemon again. (I stopped liking Pokemon in June of 4th grade, until I found out about Gold and Silver in the summer after 6th grade. I played my cousin's Gold version. I was so excited when I first caught a MAGIKARP! That's when I started watching the show again and I got my own Gold version. Afterwards, I got red version. (I liked Gold better than Red.)) Gold and Silver were my favorite games. I could always go back to it and do a new game w/out worrying about my pokemon disappear. I'm so happy they are doing a remake. Thank you Nintendo. :) (I read on a site that they are thinking about making an action Pokemon game....)

I'm looking forward to actually playing the game - my copy of Crystal (a pain in the tail to get, mind you) was given to my cousin.

I'm so excited because the thought of the remakes brings back a lot of fond memories. Pokemon Silver was the first Pokemon game, and first GBA game period, that I ever played, so I can't wait for the chance to re-experience that game with enhanced graphics and hopefully lots of new features. I really hope they keep the Kanto gyms and add more to it.

In my opinion, Johto is the best region. I like the Johto Pokemon the best, I like all the awesome features in GSC including Kanto, and Crystal was my first game.

When I found out about HGSS, I was so excited that I felt like I was going to explode. :P

I am excited because the best pokemon game ever is being remade to even better! Better graphic and hopefully better features plus maybe more to do within the game. That would be amazing. :) Also, the addition of wifi will be awesome for that region!

I am pretty excited to see if they add the Kanto region into the game. I would really like to see it in this remake because the Johto and the Kanto region are connected together.

I'm pretty excited when any Pokemon game (except for Pokemon Ranger) came out, and I'm happy that the fact that GSC has 16 gyms to go to

Well, we don't know if it still has the 16 gyms as yet, but still it is at least the most exciting to know it is finally coming.

I loved Johto, can't wait to see it with DS features! Maybe they'll somehow use the DSi features... I wish.

Well for me. I love the fact of remakes of classic games. It could be bad or it could be good. Sometimes its better to stray from the original a bit to make it a fresh new game. So i'm mostly excited for everything new it has to offer. New tiles, sprites, pokemon sprites, everything! Silver was my favorite pokemon game and it still is today. To see it brought back is something that a lot of peoples been wanting for a while.

This was nicely stated and I couldn't agree more for why I'm anxious for it to come.

I am pretty excited to see if they add in the Red Gyarados. It's most likely they will, but none of us is 100% sure.
