Srry if the title confused you! What I am basically asking is, what games do you think you will enjoy more, the remakes, or the original games before it?

I think it will be pretty balanced. I got to love the originals as a little kid, but the remakes will bring back all those great memories and then some.

Hard to say for me, I loved playing them when I was younger and I don't feel like anything is gonna top that feeling, but again I don't know until they come out.

Remakes, for sure. Its all the nostalgia, and everything else added into one.

Even though the remake brought back nostalgia plus some additional improvements, nothing beats the original.

I'd love to see you stand up and say that to Platinum.

I chose both. The originals are original, and they just keep memories.
The remakes will blend the new technology you love with the nostalgic feeling
and (hopefully) the music. It's almost unfair to compare those two.

The remakes are remakes, the originals are originals.
It's common sense the remakes will be better in technology
and features, but it's even more obvious that the originals will
always be the memories.

I like both. I am a fan of all the new features the remakes bring, but nothing can replace nostalgia.

I don't think anyone here has the right to answer this question untill HG/SS have been released, i mean really you can't prove which is better till the remakes are out, and it's unfair to judge 4 screenshots by a 10 year old game.

I can't really say as well. Nothing ever beats the originals, but seeing as the news for the remakes are new and not much is out about it as yet, it's hard to compare which I like better as yet.

Enjoy more? Hmm, depends. I'll find out once it comes out.

For now, though, originals. I do doubt the remakes can surpass the originals, but they could, given what features and additions arise.

Well, you have to ask yourself the question: what would you think if both games were released at the same time? HGSS would obviously outshine the originals if this were the case.

I don't have 20 years or so to have played G/S/C when I was... 7 maybe?
I played them a lot of years after the release, I think in 2005, so the nostalgia factor isn't for me. I choose the remake.

I can't really say, since the remakes aren't even close to coming out yet. I still think Crystal is the best Pokémon game out there, but I am optimistic that these games will come close or even surpass the originals. That'll be tough to do, however, so I'll have to wait on that one.

Seeing as what I think I migth like better, I would probably prefer the originals, because it is what brought these remakes to come in the first place. I still need to learn more about the remakes though.

Who knows. Nintendos remakes are usually much better than the originals (Zero mission woot). Though so far, speculation is running high. Honey trees would kill this for me.

I'll tell you when Heart Gold comes out.

Of course there's about an 85% that the remake will be better, but I have a great pair of nostalgia goggles.

That's actually a hard question but I would have to say both. They could always leave out or add in things that I don't like in the remake, while the actual game would have things that I like better.

My mind says I might most likely choose the remake over the original because of all the new features, graphics, and all. I just need to see how the storyline and all plays through though.

i think that the remakes will be great and bring the nostalgia and all,

but i doubt they'll blow my mind like the originals did...

in my opinion, instead of making up 100 new pokemon each time, they should just have all of them in a single pack, and let us play around with them...
then improve the gameplay, and re-sell the games in new regions and all, with a couple new pokemon, but stick with all the other ones as well...
this way it just tends to get confucing :S

Remakes b/c I'm not really big on the new pokemon(except for Shaymin and Pachirisu. Love those guys) I like the technology of the newer games more(more options, better graphics) but I love the first two .

Viva La Nostalgia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
