I noticed a thread in WD about him advertising a forum. He's desperate for activity, but to conclude this, he wants people to post HTML code on their websites so get people there. Can you just ban him or remove the entire code please?

Just so you know, there's no rule about HTML wrapped in a code box in someone's signature, HTML is disabled to all except admins on the forum. This means that the HTML will not be parsed even if posted and wrapped in

which is the standard way to get vBulletin to parse said HTML code. Since the HTML tags are disabled. its not harmful. And unless the code he's asking people to use is harmful in some way, he really isnt breaking rules yet.

So? He's just advertising his website in his signature, which is completely allowed. I would advise you to re-read the rules if you don't understand. People can stick HTML to advertise another site on their site if they wish.

So long as you aren't advertising something inappropriate, it's perfectly okay to put stuff like that in your sig. Buut if it is an inappropriate site, it's still okay to report the post and mention that the *signature* of the person is what you're reporting. A staff member who can edit that kind of stuff will review it.
