I like quite a lot. ^ , ^;

Akane
[茜]

which means deep red in Japanese.

Ayame
[菖蒲]

which means iris in Japanese.

Honoka

[和花]

which comes from hono/harmony and ka/flower.

Kohaku
[琥珀]

which can be used for both genders and means amber in Japanese.

Wakana
[和奏]

which comes from wa/harmony and kana/music.

Real Higurashi fans name their daughters Miyoko and then nickname her "Thirty-four" when she grows up.

; u; Takano~ <3

Oh! I also think that
Rie meaning "valued blessing"
and
Suzume meaning "sparrow" are good names! c:

I feel I should point out that the pronunciations of names don't have inherent meanings. It's how they are written that gives them meaning.

Take the name Miki for example. You could write it any of these ways (and probably more):

美紀 (beauty + record), 美姫 (beauty + princess), 美貴 (beauty + precious), 美樹 (beauty + tree), みき (hiragana characters with no additional meaning), ミキ (katakana characters with no additional meaning)

Of course, some names are hard not to associate with certain meanings. The name Sakura (桜, cherry blossom) is going to make people think of cherry blossoms even if you write it 咲楽 (blossom + comfort), 朔来 (first day of a month + come), 紗玖良 (gauze + jewel + good).

I seem to have some sort of fetish for unisex names...and one for male names on girls. ;-;
I'm sorry.
