Well, this is my first shot at a non-pokemon fanfic. The idea for this one has been bouncing around in my head for awhile and I thought I might put it into action. This is rated 'R' for extreme violence, possible gore, swearing, etc. This is going to get very dark, so um, yeah. One thing about the prologue. I didnt use as much description as I probably should have, and the whole thing may feel a bit sketchy, but there's a reason for that. So um, bear with me ^^;;
The quiet, and senescent approach of dawn was peeking over the hill; slowly drifting upward like that of the rising sun. But this was no ordinary dusk, no-no. This haze of violet obscurity was the beginning, the bullet that started the race. This dusk, was bringing something spectacular, and at the same time, something horrifying. It was bringing something that would rock the very foundation of the planet known as Earth.
A lone figure gallantly slouched against the side of an aging pine, its long raven hair slightly fluttering in the rising breeze. This figure was known as Casius. That was all. There was nothing else that defined him besides his name. People forgot him as soon as they saw him, never to think of this pitiful excuse for a human again. And that was acceptable to him, for he was the only one who knew, the only one the world had blessed, the only one who could make sense of the maniacal concept that was slowly wandering forward. His mind was blank, completely devoid of anything that would be considered relatively coherent. Thoughts were unable to break his mind, nothing could penetrate the vegetable like state into which he had fallen.
A long, disgust ridden sigh was hurled from his throat. He was sick; mentally and physically. With his mind, his actions, even down to his soul. Casius loathed himself. What he was about to do would surely earn him a dozen life sentences in ****, for heaven would no longer exist for him, not after this. The ripples of this night would slay him, crucify him, erase him from the very existence of the earth.
Tonight was the beginning, and in a way, the end. Two species were set to clash on this night of February the twenty-third. But there would be on victor of this battle. Both would be eradicated, both would fall in a single onslaught of malicious genocide. For on this night, the world would understand, the curtain will rise, and the truth, will finally be cast down upon the ignorant.
