dun dun dun duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun.

well, do you? my grandma is religious and really scared of that fire (I don't know how its called, the sinners have to burn there for a while). she already was dead once and she is sooooo afraid of dying. Now she is not able to live without medicals and machines.

Do you fear death and would you want people to keep you alive no matter what happens?

As for me, as long as I had a long and funny life. There are certain things that I want to see and do, and I don't want to die before I did. I'm just kinda scared and curious about the after-death thing. I don't belive in heaven and such, but reading a nice book and drinking tea would be nice.

Also, when I am not able to live with my own strength, then the time is over. And its pointless to live physically and stay in bed for the rest of my life.

I fear death too soon. I won't mind dying, as long as I'm ready, and I feel like I've lived a long and happy life. If I were to die now at a young age, where I haven't felt I've lived life to it's best and it's fullest, I'm afraid of it.

In 60 or 70 years I most likely won't mind it. However, it would be painful to die now.

Death is something we cannot miss so there's no reason to be afraid
that was wise said. some people should try to understand that.
Same with beauty and youth. Why care about it, we'll lose it anyway.
I am afraid of being an adult. I forgot to mention that. But I have no idea why I am. .__.

The only reason I fear death is losing the people close to me. They're what keeps me going through all the tough times, and yeah.
that also.

To be honest no, if I have a once of a kind life then I'll rest in peace.

Yeah that's right ;)
I don't give it a damn to those things they aren't important...

Nope. If I die, I die. I'm not gonna kill myself or anything, but I'm not afraid of dying.
But if ya kill yourself ya will be sure that you were killed by someone ya can believe in xD

I'd rather not die till I've accomplished my life goals, and would prefer to have warning beforehand so I don't just suddenly die without saying goodbye or letting others say goodbye, but I don't really fear death. I would hate to be immortal. If you really think about it, it sounds quite terrible. Also, if I was in a situation where I was put on life support, and just 'kept alive' but otherwise dead without any chance of recovery, I'd rather be just allowed to die so that someone who actually needs life support could use it. :/

At this current moment in time, I don't fear it in the sence that I am petrified by it and I will not do anything risky, like cross a road XD

However, if I was faced with a situation where my life was on the line, yes, I think I would be scared. I think it is a normal human reaction.

If I am old and dying, then I will fear death.

Death is unknown and the human mind does not like the unknown. I often wonder what is after dying. Is it just like sleeping? But not waking up. I find that hard to believe. I don't mean I don't believe in death, haha, I mean I find it hard to get my head around it.

When people go to sleep, unless they dream, it feels like you have just closed your eyes and it feels like it has gone quick. So imagine not waking up. It is just weird XD

That is my view on it anyway...

Death is stupid. No matter what you do your going to die anyway, so why be afraid?
Yes, that is true. However, people still fear it for good reasons.

I fear not being able to see the people I love, no matter if I am going to die anyway or not. It is still a sad thing.

Guh. I feel somewhat pathetic after reading these answers. To put it simply, right now, I am scared of death. Okay, so's there no escaping it, I know that. How is that supposed to help me overcome the fear, exactly? I have a feeling once I achieve what I want to and live to a ripe old age, I'll be a little less scared. But... ugh. It terrifies me. I'm not going to be paranoid and live my life in fear, but I certainly don't want to go out before I'm ready (if I ever am, anyways). This also seems eerily similar to the thread I just posted in in Other Chat...
