This is the story of one particular trainer. It's what I planned on revealing a while ago. It takes place 3 years after Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, and at the same time as Gold, Silver, and Crystal version.
Rating: I think it should be rated PG-13 for language, violence, and suggestive themes.

Formerly Heartless
Chapter 1:
It was a sunny day in Agate Village. The trees were luscious, and the wind blew a cool breeze. Everyone had a positive energy. The elderly men were talking about there past. The young children were playing tag and other games, and the elderly women were drinking tea. It truly was a great day.
Everyone was happy. All, except one boy. Cal. He hated being isolated from the rest of the world. Agate Village is populated with only 37 people. He knew everyone. He hated that. Cal wanted enemies, so he treated everyone horribly. That trait eventually gave him the reputation as 'the heartless child'.
One of his sisters, Serena, wished he would feel good about being in peace. His other sister, Azura, was like him, and did not like Agate Village and left on a Pokémon journey. Cal wanted Azura to stay, because in his eyes, she was the only reasonable person in the damn village. He often went to the forbidden shrine to be away from the others. But, he'd always get caught by Serena.
"You can't keep going here. It's against the law," said Serena.
Cal looked into here emerald green eyes. "I like to be alone. Please leave me be." He sat down against a tree.
Serena sat down next to him. She pulled a Poké Ball from here bag and sent out a Poochyena. "Why don't you go exploring the forest with me? I'll leave you alone afterwards."
Cal stared at her. She smiled at him. After a moment of silence, he replied with, "Well, I guess. Can you give me an empty Poké Ball? If I find a wild Pokémon, I'm gonna catch it."
After about twenty minutes of walking, Serena asked, "If you catch a Pokémon, are you going to leave?"
"Yes. As soon as possible." Cal replied almost instantly.
Serena started petting her Poochyena. She pulled out a piece of paper. "I'm leaving in two days to go to the Pokémon HQ. They want me to become a researcher there."
All Cal could think about was finding a Pokémon. But, after hearing that information, he looked at her. "Good luck. Shouldn't you be packing up your stuff now, though?"
Serena laughed. She knew that he wanted here out of the village, so he'd have nothing to stay for. "Azura thought you'd say that."
"You spoke to her?" Cal asked curiously.
"She sent a letter, idiot." Serena answered.
Then Cal noticed a rustling in a nearby bush. A wild Bulbasaur walked seven steps from the bush, and stared at Cal. They locked eyes. Cal knew that was the Pokémon for him.
"Poochyena. Roar," said Serena. The Poochyena barked and the Bulbasaur got scared and fled.
Cal got angered. "What the hell are you doing?" He then ran off toward the Bulbasaur.
"Cal! Wait!" said Serena. She withdrew here Poochyena. But when she couldn't see Cal.
Cal caught up the the Bulbasaur and saw it was getting attacked by a flock of Spearow. Cal ran up and tried to scare the birds away. "Back off you damn birds!" He kicked one of them. And hit another one. He got pecked in the face, and in the back of his leg. But the Bulbasaur tackled one of them, and vine whiped annother.
After several hits, the birds ran off. The Bulbasaur recognized Cal's rescue, and started rubbing its head against Cal's leg. Cal decided to throw the Poké Ball, and it successfully caught the Bulbasaur.
Cal layed down. Tired. It was after dark and he had no clue where he was in the Forest. He hoped Serena was safely at home. Then Cal's attention got focused to the Bulbasaur. It was injured from the Spearow. Cal ran off toward where he hoped was Agate Village. He had to get to the Pokémon Center.
After an hour or two of running, Cal got to the Shine. He crawled through a secret whole he had made over the years in the cave. It led to his backyard. From there, about a few houses over was the Center. He ran there. The lights were still on, so he knew it was open.
"Wow Cal, your up late. Why are you here?" asked the nurse. She yawned.
"I have to heal my Pokémon! It's an emergency!" barked Cal.
"Okay, okay." The nurse grabbed the Poké Ball and put it in the healing machine. "When did you get a Pokémon, Cal?"
"About a few hours ago. I caught it in the forest." he replied. "Is he almost done healing?"
The machine made a ding. The nurse grabbed the Poké Ball and handed it to Cal. "Since your a new trainer, you have to sign this form" She handed him some papers.
Cal walked to a table. He read the first questions. Name: Cal. Age: 15. Date of Birth: Unknown. Hair color: Brown. Eye color: Sapphire Blue. How many Pokémon do you own? 1. What was your first Pokémon? Bulbasaur.
"Im finished." He handed the papers to the nurse, who gave him a Trainer Card. "Have a nice day tomorrow!"
Cal got home. He grabbed his money and some food. Then wrote a letter:
Serena,
I'm going on an adventure like Azura. Except I don't know when I'll be back. I hope to keep in contact with you. I know you'll be at the Orre HQ. Your brother,
Cal.
P.S.
I raided our refrigerator. Sorry.
He then started on a walk toward Gateon City, where he plans on taking a boat to Olivine City in Johto.
