This will probably soudns very interesting to you guys. Last monday, me and some friends got together in the union room while at a card store. We were having a good old time, checking the trade board, battling, when suddenly a mystery trainer appeared in the Room! And just as quickly this trainer appeared, he disappeared. We began to wonder who this mystery trainer was, and started moving around to try to get back in range. We would catch him, and then almost as quickly he was gone again. I imagine we must have looked strange, running down the street to try to catch this mystery trainer and keep him in range long enough to talk to him, find out his name, things like that.:D But in the end, we lost him. We never figured out who he was. :\

I would think that you looked strange too, lol.

¿Maybe it was a car that passed by?

It must have been interesting to the people nearby, but if he kept going in and out of range, I don't think it was a car, but you never know.

I'm not sure, but we got teh signal about four times.we heard from someone that they saw a cheerleader go by with a gameboy, so we ran over to teh cheerleading place nearby. We picked up teh signal again in front of a dolalr tree right by the cheerleading place, but then we lsot it for good. I hope we find that mystery trainer next week, since we go to that card shop every monday.

you could find the mystery trainer this way,get fresh batteries and walk up to the union room, enter it, and wait there until the mystery trainer appears again,if you can yell hey, stop if you are playing lg/fr and you are in the union room. if it is a car then there isnt a thing you can do about it. or you can run up to him and request his trainer card, remember the name and id. no. you may see him again...

Weird, that sounds kinda shpooky. << >> I wonder who it could have been. Maybe, you guys were in range with that person until you moved a bit, then you were out of range again. Or, that person was with his/her own friends and you all were on the border line of the union room's capacity with each other. Or.........it's a stalker!! *runs*

i dont know if you guys know anything about radio signals but there is something called band skip which isnt prone to happening in ultra high frequencies that this uses but is possible it is where the radio signal gets trapped between the earth and stratosphere and travels in odd patterns...if the conditions were right you could potentially link with someone 10 miles away but its highly unlikely.

That was very interesting. If you remember that happened two weeks in a row, that was funny us walking down the side walk trying to find the mystery trainer and we did look kind of weird it probaly look as though we were using our GBs as metal decters, that was so fun (I am hoping we will find that person this Monday too)! :D

Well, the official range is 3 metres, but it's possible to get way beyond that (distances of 50 metres and over have been reported, albeit with no obstructions in the way like walls, or a yak).
