I've been mostly internet-less at home for the last few days so I sat down to play PS2 and... I've noticed I'm absolutely breezing through a game that took me a month to beat the last time I played it. It's like I'm in high school all over again! :P So I have a few questions for everyone!

1. Do you beat your games? Do you make sure you beat a game before you move on to a new one or are you content to play a little here and there without specifically going toward the end-game?

2. How long does it usually take you to beat games? Do you get a new game and play for hours on end until you make it to the end credits or do you take months to get your act in gear to do it?

3. Are there any games you nearly beat but for some reason stopped near the end and haven't bothered with the final boss yet? ...self-explanitory. XD;

Will answer for myself later. :D

1. I take turns on different games, i only tend to beat games i have time for. 2. Sometimes a few weeks but when it's like a Mario or Zelda game, i take time and go for a few months. 3. New Play Control - Pikmin, i got bored on the last stage and i quit.

1. Do you beat your games? I tend to try and finish it before moving on to something else but now and again I play something else to take a break

2. How long does it usually take you to beat games? I tend to play hours on end, but I tend to instinctively leave a game for a month or two when I'm near the end, I tend to do it without thinking. (Examples: Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Persona 3)

3. Are there any games you nearly beat but for some reason stopped near the end and haven't bothered with the final boss yet? I am very close to doing this with Final Fantasy V Advance, it's really annoying me and I know just about at the final dungeon. I'm not going to give this one up!

1. I nearly always try to beat my games, if there's a game I havn't beaten it will annoy me and I'll feel an urge to beat it so I can just forget about it then.

2. It depends how good the game is, I remember Medal of Honour: Frontline took me ages to beat because it didn't really hook me. I completed Fahrenheit in a day though because I just couldn't put the controller down.

3. Nope. Once I get to the final boss I will keep at it until I win. If I didn't beat the final boss then the knowing that I got so close to the end, but didn't manage to complete it, would drive me crazy.

1. I usually start them but never finish. I have a lot of unfinished games. I even have unfinished saved games with no set storyline.

2. I think I've yet to beat a game. I just get bored of them before I finish them.

3. None, because I never get that far in games. Except for Pokemon.

1. Do you beat your games?

If possible, yes. I always try to complete my games.

2. How long does it usually take you to beat games?

I gotta say, it depends on the game. Most good games take a few days to beat. Others can take a week or more (if I want 100%).

3. Are there any games you nearly beat but for some reason stopped near the end and haven't bothered with the final boss yet?

Yes, "The World Ends With You" was one of the best DS games I ever played. I haven't beaten it yet beacuse it froze before the final boss. I was soooo mad!

'kay my turn. 8)

1. I used to never beat my games. XD I'd just play them every so often and get nowhere. Then once I got a PS2 and discovered RPGs, I actually started making the effort to beat games. Backloggery helps immensely for me so that I get a tangible reward (well, sort of XD) for the end credits.

2. In high school I had SO much free time--I'd be able to rush through and complete a 60+ hour RPG in under a week. Now? XD It usually takes me MONTHS. If it's a handheld game, usually one or two months to beat. I don't have the attention span for most games anymore. :C So yeah, a few weeks to a few months depending on how hooked I am. I've noticed that instead of picking one and playing it obsessively like I used to, I spread my attention out over 3 or 4 games at once which probably explains why it takes so much longer to beat them these days. Hmm.

3. Way too many. I'm (near) the end of FFX-2 and have been for YEARS because of that stupid 100-level dungeon (I'm on the last level and I'm stuck D8). I'm at the last dungeon of Dark Cloud. Uhh... I got stuck at the very end of Final Fantasy 7 and never beat it... this happens all the time with me. XD;

1. I always complete the games I am playing. I like to know what happens.
If it is a game I really enjoy, I will complete everything about it.
But, if I didn't really like it, I will just finish the story and that is it.

2. It really depends on when I get the game and try it is.
Depends when I get it, because I could have work, or I am going home or so on so on. And if it is a big RPG, then it will take longer than something like, Pokemon.

3. There isn't, no.
I am going through Dragon Warrior Monsters, but I have stopped. Had to buy a SP charger and it hasn't come yet! XDDD

1. Do you beat your games?
I always beat my games that I borrow from a friend or buy from a store.

2. How long does it usually take you to beat games?
It depends on if I want to beat it or not. If I want to beat it, I usually try beating it as fast as I can. If I dont care about beating it, I just take it slowly.

3. Are there any games you nearly beat but for some reason stopped near the end and haven't bothered with the final boss yet?
Actually no there isnt. There has been a couple of games though where I told myself that I would "never play this game again" because I got stuck somewhere but I end up playing it again and beating the game.

I play games non-stop until I complete them, if I get stuck, I move onto another game for a little while, then come back to it.
I usually complete games within the first week of playing them. However, some games take me months to do.
I have a few games where I just cant be bothered to do the final boss, so I have an almost completed set of games.

1. Some games I bear to play on Hard and Very Hard modes but then stop after beating the hardest level, like Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles -- Ring of Fates, and some I complete and perfect like Golden Sun and Final Fantasy Tactics A2. 300 quests completed, baby!

2. I beat games pretty quickly; even those that purportedly take weeks to finish. This week alone, I beat every game on my R4DS.

3. The World Ends With You; though I finished it last week by chain resetting Easymodes.

I can't stand having a game not beat, I have to beat it if I own it, the only exceptions are crappy games (I don't own many) and games that I'm just not in the mood for, for example RE1 remake for wii when nobody is home at 3 am.

2. How long does it usually take you to beat games? Do you get a new game and play for hours on end until you make it to the end credits or do you take months to get your act in gear to do it?

I generally beat them as soon as possible, I'm normally not very thorough the first time through because I just want to beat it. Later play throughs I'll be very thorough.

3. Are there any games you nearly beat but for some reason stopped near the end and haven't bothered with the final boss yet?

Yes, these are normally crappy games or hard games. The two that come to mind are FF3 for the DS, because it's way too hard and I can't handle the level grinding and Sonic Unleashed, because the werehog controls suck and frustrate the hell out of me.

1. Sometimes I make sure I complete the game to its end, other times I just take turns between games...

2. Usually it can take some weeks, depending on the game.

3.Yes there are. I never finished Sonic Heroes, I cant access the Super Hard mode because I don't have all-A ranked stages... meh.

1. Do you beat your games? Yes I do, well most of them.

2. How long does it usually take you to beat games? When i get a new game it takes me about a month or two unless it's something like Tekken, but after I've played through it once it takes me about one or two days.

3. Are there any games you nearly beat but for some reason stopped near the end and haven't bothered with the final boss yet? Yes there is, it's actually Breath Of Fire III

1: It really depends on the games. I mean as much as I don't like getting started on something and not finishing it... for some reason these days I can't get into RPGs. It might be Pokemon, it might be Tales of the Abyss, FFVII:CC, and so on. But give me something along the lines of a shooter and I'll beat it. I love RPGs, and I'd love to beat all the ones on my list. But I just can't force myself to do it....

2: If it's an RPG.... it takes maybe a year or more.... really. XD
I let FFXII sit there for exactly a year before beating it. ToA I still haven't beat it, Pokemon Diamond still haven't beat it. And so on.

3: No. If I'm at the boss then I sit down and finish it to get it off my list/Backloggery.

Really, I think my prob is multiplayer games. There are games I have that I'd love to beat. But they're all single player games, Pokemon, ToA, Assassin's Creed, FFVII:CC, The Orange Box, KH:reCoM, and so on. These days I'm just into multiplayer games that I can play with friends. Where years ago these types of games would have been beaten long ago.

Do you beat your games?

I do! I usually beat them before I start playing other games, unless the other game is for a system separate. Like...playing Fallout 3, I will still play Apollo Justice on the DS and Sims 3 on the computer. But otherwise, the games stay where they are until beaten. XD;

How long does it usually take you to beat games?

Um...depends on how much time I have to play? If I play for a day straight, I'm sure I could beat it. But I certainly don't take forever to beat games. In games like Grand Theft Auto or others for the Xbox 360, I try to get all the achievements possible. So does that count as beating a game? Cause I usually fail at getting all the achievements. :x

Are there any games you nearly beat but for some reason stopped near the end and haven't bothered with the final boss yet?

Uh..Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. :/ I just cannot beat that game. I also can't beat the last tier of songs on expert on Guitar Hero: Legends of Rock. ;;

1. Do you beat your games?
Yes, most of them. :D

2. How long does it usually take you to beat games?
It depends on the game, and how much time I have to put in it. Generally, I'll play as much as I can until I beat it. Ace Attorney games, for example, usually take a day or two of me playing it non-stop. Persona games, 70 hours+.

3. Are there any games you nearly beat but for some reason stopped near the end and haven't bothered with the final boss yet?
Atelier Iris 2: The Azoth of Destiny, Final Fantasy IV (DS) and Dragon Quest IV (DS) are the only three I can think of at the moment. Oh, and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (PS). XD;
