A few people in my art class are fans of his work. So I've read a bit of Squee and Johnny before. ^_^; It's hilarious. =3 I love the style~

They cancelled it. :(
But, they released DVDs. So, yay. Like, I have the second one, but, I couldn`t get the first. I yelled at the Wal Mart man for a few minutes, then walked away. Suprised he didn`t call security on me. o.o;

Uhm. Pepito rules!

Meh. I like Jhonen's work, and I think it's really good. I follow graphic novels and comics, and the art is good and it has a solid script most of the time. But, I hear about his stuff too much, which (probably like a lot of people, but for different reasons) pisses me off. It's good, but it's not all that original. Iunno. It's good. That's my two cents.

You hear a bout it a lot? Heh. Where I live, you can`t say Jhonen and expect anyone to know who you`re talking about unless you say *He created Invader Zim...* And even then, people just shurg, or say *That`s his name?*
How is it not original? Just...Curiousity.

I should probably reword that, I guess, to better answer your question. Pertaining to his comcis (JTHM, Squee, IFS, etc) I don't mean originality, per say, just that I've seen the idea used a lot. But he portrays it differently anyway. Iunno. I mean that I see a lot of books and stuff about homicidal maniacs living in the real world going around and stuff, and about children like Squee. For the most part, though, his stuff is very original.
