Well, I think that will be a hard blow for all the Schumi fans and the Valencia Circuit owners, because he was the only attractive for the Spanish audience now that Alonso is banned from the race.

Anyway, it's a chance for Luca Badoer, third/fourth driver in Ferrari for about 10 years, I think it was his time already to race x_x

Anyway, it will be fun to see if the Brawn can do anything after sinking into nothingness these weeks, specially in such a boring track where overtaking is basically impossible. I'm also intrigued by Hamilton, it was already time to see the current WDC doing... something to prove he is still the best driver.

I don't think Lewis is the best driver.

For most good drivers it is the tools that help them and it's the same for Lewis and I'll admit for Raikkonen (My favourite driver btw, he doesn't care much about the sport but whatever, I'll explain some other time if anyone actually cares about that).

I think the best driver at the moment is Alonso, Renault wasn't the best car at the time of his two titles and he was up against Schumacher.

Alonso made an incredibly stupid move to go to Renault. Because of his move, he's failed over the last 2 seasons. He should have just put his differences aside with Hamilton and stayed at Mclaren. I think we all underated Button when he was at Honda.. I thought he was a poor driver but it wasn't him.. it was Honda putting him in a terrible car.

I think F1 has been in a complete state this year.. so much mess with all the companies threatening to leave etc.

Agreed. I see how it was hard for him though. If I were world champ I'd want first preference if my teammate were a rookie.

I thought of him as a good driver after 03 or maybe 04 when he came 3rd in the championship in the Honda and then Honda just fell apart. Hungary 06 showed us another glimpse of his ability though. I think he'll still win the championship but the Red Bulls with be close behind. Next year when Ferrari and Mcclaren have hopefully sorted themselves out, it could be harder. I think he'll grab one or two wins next year and will finish about 3rd or 4th in the championship.

It has been for a few years, Spygate, The Diffusers etc.

I'm pretty glad they didn't because if anyone was going to pull out it'd have been ferrari.

There is supposed to be 13 teams next year and I think the points system may need another retouch.

This seems pretty random but what is with Brawn's wheel discs?

Bright green but every other team just have a simple black.

Oh, I meant, I think Alonso is the best driver, and I wished for Massa to have won last year, but Hamilton is the current champion, just for that you'd expect something from him.

Raikkonen, I always hated him (starting when he was Alonso's rival during his first WDC year), but, after the ice-cream show in Malaisia I honestly think he should be fired from Ferrari already.

And, about the McLaren issue, after being penalized for following his team's orders in... Germany? and losing his pole to Hamilton, leaving the team that was trying to sink a two-times world champion into being a rookie's helper made all the sense in the world.
Let's hope he can get a decent car next year.

I thought Schumacher was returning temporarily? To cover for the guy who had an accident a few weeks ago.

I enjoy a good F1 race on occasion. One year as a child was really fixated on it and didn't miss a race. XD Not that active now

I only really like Raikkonen as a driver, I started wathing F1 in '02 so I got quickly sick of Schumacher winning and in '03 Raikkonen was his rival so it probably started from there. His attitude towars F1 is pretty appaling though.

I'd be glad if Alonso got a place at Ferrari, even at Raikkonen's expense.

Good to see that Renault's ban may be overturned.

EDIT: Scratch that, http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/default.stm They're in.

Suprise, suprise. Alonso does great on a Spanish track.
Practice doesnt really prove much.

Especially when both Force Indias are in the top 8.

I agree that he'll do well though, he might get a podium.

It's a bunch of streets in the beach zone of the city, crossing the harbor. Last week my step-dad and I drove around said streets on his car, so yeah.

Kind of Monaco but with wider roads so there is a smaller chance of a safety car.

Luca was absolutely awful!
I didnt manage to catch it but I assumed he'd crashed considering how far behind he was.

If he didnt crash then I dont see why any team on the grid (Inc. Force India) would give him a test driver seat. Not a very safe backup.

While its obviously not concrete, I'd be delighted for this to go through.
