We've recently had our internet going. But since yesterday, our internet has been acting up, in the sense that Orange (ISP) is disconnecting us from the internet for no reason at all. All the correct lights are on on the router (green light for WiFi, Comp, and phone/net access) so I don't know what's happening. I think that it's something to do with us hitting some sort of capacity for our broadband, but this happening ever 30 minutes is going to slowly drive me insane. Someone help me please?

It's probably on their end. Call them up and complain. Threaten to cancel your contract and switch ISPs if you have to. They'll respond.

We've found out the problem. It's always down between 5-6pm, during peak times, so we get cut during that time.

So, nothing I can do to sort it out I'm afraid.

Sure you can. Complain, and threaten legal action if they don't remedy the situation. It's their obligation to provide you with service, since that's what you're paying for. IANAL, but they're probably legally liable if they don't uphold that end of the contract.

Addendum: I'm totally against actually suing them for it. Threatening legal action is something completely different than actually going through with it.
