My jaw dropped at the good fortune I had on Pokemon Shield. It happened at the start of this week. I was breeding for shiny Dreepy, and hatched a shiny on only the 90th egg! Of course I was happy about, but was so stunned to register the excitement, I just gasped and double-checked in disbelief a few times, and sat there in silent awe, before gathering my wits and saving the game-- I saved 4 or 5 times just to be sure that i had. This appeared so fast that it feels like a dream. I am looking forward to watching this cool dragon lady turn into a shiny Dragapult. I am changing the name of the dreepy that fathered her to SonofHeaven, like the emperor, to honor this pokemon's greatness for bringing this shiny into the world.
Not entering G-Money's contest, just making a little post so that my fellow shiny hunters will be proud of me ^_^
Way to go, Vision!!

I do the same thing with saving like a million times after getting a shiny, "lol!"

That's a cool idea about honoring the parent, too!
I know you said that you weren't entering the contest, but I don't really care and I entered you anyway.

You're a great shiny hunter, and we're super proud of you and glad that you're part of the club!!!
March Madness, awesome! I'd like to join. I am currently soft resetting for a shiny Latios in Alpha Sapphire and shiny Reshiram in Omega Ruby.
I've caught at least about 30 shiny Pokemon in Violet since it was released. I feel like it's tooooo easy to obtain shinies in S/V, but they are fun to obtain nonetheless. Some of my favorites include Scizor, Weavile, Azumarill, Gogoat, Dragapult, and some of the Violet Paradox forms.
I actually started making a Google Doc spreadsheet compiling my shiny Pokemon. Roughly half of my ~200 shinies come from Pokemon Go.

Edit: Recent Shiny captures so far
1. Hisuan Avalugg in PLA (outbreak) on March 13th
2. Mothim in PLA (randomly) on March 23rd
3. Cyndaquil in PLA (outbreak) on March 24th (video below)
4. Bramblin in Violet (randomly) on March 26th (video below)
Huge congrats on those shinies! Especially Cyndaquil, who's the greatest Pokémon of all time!!
200ish shinies is absolutely staggering!! Not only do you deserve congrats for your cool March ones, but your entire shiny history as a hunter is super impressive!! (Just don't let icycatelf find out that you stole a shiny Mothim on him...

)
My Shiny luck has been rotten this month, but Bank/Transporter recently became free so I took the opportunity to migrate some of my older Shinies to the 3D games (cloning anything I might want to keep using in the 2D games ahead of time). My Shiny
pastry Quilava has finally joined my Shiny
ice cream Vanillite in Kalos and my Shiny Servine has a new home in Alola. I also renewed my HOME subscription to see if any of my favorite Shinies transferrable to SWSH were "Glistening." Star sparkles from Magneton, star sparkles from Tyrogue, stars from Omanyte... it was looking grim, then Luxio did this:
1/65,536!
I had absolutely no idea what you were talking about with the square shiny thing, so I looked it up, and OMG!!!!

That's so cool!! I had no idea that there was a new, even rarer form of shiny hunting now!!!!!!!!!!!1

That's super cool - I might just have to go on a square shiny hunt in one of the new games, "lol!"

Congrats on all those shinies! It's great to see a legend putting up amazing shiny hunting numbers like that - you're amazing, Maserati!!!
It's been a pretty productive month for me. I got either 11 or 8 shinies depending on if the ones I caught today still count, as the announcement states:
"shinies caught

Didn't notice
that till now 😅

1st Flittle, which is now an Espathra:
Shiny #2; March 11th. Shield, Masuda Method breeding.

2nd Girafarig which is now a Farigiraf:
Mandatory camp images for the shiny Goomy line:
Also an image from Legends Arceus for the two Hisuian ones out of their ball:
And finally a couple Picnic images for the Scarlet/Violet shinies:
No camp images for Roggenrola/Gigalith yet as I still need a 3rd Shiny Roggenrola for Boldore.
Gonna go pick a fight with the Mightiest Samurott while I'm in Violet and then back to Shield for Shiny Roggenrola #3!
Wow, what an amazing month!! Congrats on the terrific shiny run - you really earned the
March Madness championship!! That's what a resounding victory looks like, "lol!"
And I was actually thinking about clarifying the end dates in the post, but then I decided against it, haha! I can't believe you actually noticed, but I thought I could sneak that one by y'all, hahahahaha!

But all your shinies count - the contest was for the month of March,
inclusive! Like, we're using [1,31] as our dataset instead of (1,31). Closed brackets, ReKoil!!
Nice job again on that
March Madness championship!! You had some stiff competition, but the heart of a hunter shone through!!
