I think this is the right place to put this.(right?)

As I have been looking around the internet looking around for some MMORPG's to play, none have caught my eye. SO, what I'm asking is who knows of a good mmorpg that they are playing, excpet for Maplestory or Fiesta., as I have played though and I want something new :P

Play lunia. Its fun and addicting, 3-D and much better than your average MMORPG game and much better than most rpg games like maplestory, mabinogi, ragnarok, etc.

I have heard good things about EVE Online, City of Heroes/Villains, and World of Warcraft (obligatory). As for upcoming titles, Aion has been receiving a lot of attention, and Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMORPG that even I may look into (I do not normally play MMORPGs).

Tales of Pirates Online. I have been playing on and off for a while now, and it is great. It is constantly being updated, the community is great (even though a good portion doesn't speak English), the graphics are okay (they aren't anything stellar, but they suffice), and there are many quests. Of course, gameplay is another factor and it doesn't disappoint. I am one to constantly get bored with an MMO because gameplay gets too repetitive, and I have always come back to Tales of Pirates because somehing new is usually there when I return.

You could also try Kingdom of Loathing if you are interested into command-driven MMOs. KoL is a little easier, since you don't have to have a thesaurus of commands sitting next to you while you play, you only need to click on the action you want. The game is really funny, too. For example, two classes are Accordian Thief and Disco Bandit. The community is generally good, just don't go in acting like a n00b and you'll be fine. You are allowed (as far as I remember) to have more than one account, so long as you don't abuse it. When you reach the final point of the game, you can "ascend" to a different class while you keep one skill you have learned in your previous class. Lots of replay value, here. You can even have your own store to sell stuff with. Now, when I played, the userbase for KoL was relatively small, so I am not sure how big it is now.

I used to play Kingdom of Loathing. It was a good game and pretty simple.

Other good MMO games I would say are Knight online Which I have spent 200+ hours on and still play on occasion. It has regular updates and lots of different things you can do, level limit is around 90 but to get that high takes a long time.

Perfect World is another good MMO, I haven't spent to long on this one but there are several classes and races to choose from and the characters are fully customisable. There are a lot of quests that can be done and it is updated weekly.

Finally the one I currently play is Corum Online, the game has now been dropped by the developers so they won't be getting any more updates but it has a good community and if you want to level fast they have increased the exp amount since they won't be updating it so leveling is easy, it is a pretty basic game but still enjoyable.

This thread will be filled with biased answers, depening on who likes what MMO.. xD;

Buuut here's mine, anyhoo:

I'd say look into Mabinogi, definietely.

Or maybe Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine, which is based off the SMT/Persona videogame series.. if you're familiar with them. xD It's a pretty good MMO, but it's a bit darker then a lot of the happy, shiny graphic'd MMOs that come out now days.

I play Runes of Magic at the moment. It's a pretty well polished F2P MMORPG, although you would need to throw a little cash at the game if you want to get anywhere endgame.

Play Ragnarok Online if you haven't; every MMOer has to play that game at least once.
EverQuest or Ultima Online (maybe even Anarchy Online and Planetside) would be more along the lines of what an MMO player should be familiar with rather than Ragnarök Online.
