10 - Geodude/Graveler - I tried a Rock-type Ultimate Monotype Challenge (going through all the regions with one type). It is everywhere, and it's the only rock-type for a long time. It self-destructs in your face, and it doesn't even have the common courtesy to evolve all the way without trading.
9 - Feebas/Milotic - Why do they pretend that this thing is better than Gyrados? Feebas, Magikarps ugly cousin, is almost impossible to find, while Magikarp is everywhere. Luckily, if you have th patience to train one of these billion Magikarp to level 20, you get a nice Gyrados in return. Gyrados in hard enough to get. But if you're spent millions of hours trying to find a Feebas, you get rewarded with painstakingly feeding it Pokeblocks to get it to evolve in the most obscure way in history. So surely this evolution should be one of the best pokemon there is, right? Gyrados is much better than Milotic. So who the hell would bother going through all that crap, when they could take the comparatively easy route of trying to train Magikarp?
8 - Lucario – It. Is. Not. A. Legendary.
7 - Tentacool - There are too many, and they're everywhere. And they poison you. And this guy and Wingull mean that you pretty much have to take an electric-type with you while surfing. You thought that Grass would take care of those water-types? Think again.
6 - Wurmple - Combining the powers of Weedle and Caterpie to be exactly the same, just 10 times more annoying! Here lieth all ripoffs from the third generation.
5 - Plulse/Minun/Pachirisu – They are not Pikachu. Why do you continue to make Pikachu again and again, Nintendo?
4 - Rhyperior - There were many uneeded and downright ugly evolutions in the 4th gen, but Rhyperior takes the biscuit for sheer ugliness, ruining the awesomeness of its prevolutions.
3 - Probopass – MY EYES! OH GOD! THEY BURN!
2 - Heatran - To represent all extraneous legendaries, I have selected Heatran, probably the worst of the bunch. We did alright back during the first two generations, didn't we? When "legendary" actually meant something? OK, fourth generation, you needed the Dragon trio and lake trio for plot purposes, I get that. Oh, and Arceus to rule over them. Then there's Regigigas, fair enough, the Regis needed a master - oh, and there's Cresselia as well, OK, you fancied another roamer, didn't really need one but... and Cresselia wants an opposite. Well, if you really need one. Manaphy? Well if you really need a Mew/Celebi/Jirachi style legend again, I guess, but you already have event-exclusives in this generation.... and it has a baby too I see.... then you've also got Heatran, and Shaymin.... why are thsese guys here again?
We don't need that many legendaries. Simple as.
And the grand prize goes to....
1 - Zubat/Golbat
"Wild Golbat appeared!"
"OK, it's weakish, Go, Garchomp! Use Dragon Claw!"
"Wild Golbat used Confuse Ray!"
"Garchomp is confused! It hurt itself in the confusion!"
"Gaargh! OK, lets try to escape"
"Golbat used Mean Look! Can't escape!"
"Dammit, kill it!"
"Garchomp hurt itself in the confusion!"
"Golbat used Poison Fang! Garchomp was badly poisoned!"
"Garchomp was hurt by confusion, poison, and pure frustration!"
"Garchomp fainted!"
"AAAAAAARRRRGGHHHHHH!!!!"
"Strong Pokemon. Weak Pokemon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favourites."
