Spoiler:

Wow, I'm so excited for Assassin's Creed II! ^^" I loved the first one so much on PS3. I definitely think its one of my - if not the - favorite PS3 games. :>

Things I didn't like about Assassin's Creed was I felt like the character's movement mechanics were really laggy. I felt like his response to my button press wasn't quick enough and they spent too much time letting his arms fling around and clothes drape. This time around, I believe that is a fix. :> From what I've seen in the previews and gameplay demo he's quick and agile. Not very laggy at all, or so it seems.

I also didn't like the idea of just getting little side mission after side mission "as a main theme". Don't get me wrong, that's so much fun in my opinion. @[email protected] But as a main part of the game play I felt like I was wasting too much time, but if you skip all the Save The Citizens and Pickpockets, etc. you'll fly through the game like yesteryear. =P This, also stated by the games creator, has been fixed. In fact, I think - to a degree - its been completely taken out or re-constructed.

I also felt like the city structures were actually built so that a ninja could run in and climb on everything like a little kid in a jungle gym. And from what I've seen in the previews, this still remains in Assassin's Creed II. Hopefully its not as bad, though. :(

Things I loved about Assassin's Creed was that it was insanely fun! It also has some very good graphics and the depth of the storyline is very well thought through and makes perfect sense. No vagueness at the end. :>

Things I'm most excited about in Assassin's Creed II are especially the vehicles. As seen in the preview the glider looks totally epic. :>

I also can't wait to experiment with the new assassination abilities. ^^" I just want to throw somebody off a roof. T__T Heh..heh... hehe... O____O"
Anyway, the double blades also looks very interesting and I'm very curious as to how it will - and can - be executed.

So what's everyone's thoughts on Assassin's Creed II?

I can not wait.

I loved the first one. One of the main problems, however, I had with the first was the movement around the areas was rather boring after a while. As well as the killing.
I had to actually go out of my way to find different ways of killing people.

One example, getting them to all see me, climbing up to a tall building, then grabbing them and throwing them off.

I see that Ubisoft have addressed this problem though, which is just awesome.
I have my order pre-ordered and I can't wait to play it on the PS3.

I still need to beat the first one before I even consider getting this. It's one of my higher-priority games, but I still don't think it'll get done before AC2 comes out. And even still, I might wait for AC2 to price drop, since I haven't liked what I've played of AC that much. XD

Assassins Creed is extremely fun to play, although it had some very annoying parts in it. I just hope that the second one is as good as people say it is. Theres something i've always been wonering though, in the video Ezio seems to kill someone with a gun from his glove, is that actually a weapon you can use in the game or was that just there for that specific scene because the idea of using guns to assassinate your targets seems a little off for ACII. But using guards own weapons against them seems interesting, along with having two hidden blades instead of one.

Well there should be gunpowder-based weapons in the game, to make it more realistic. Wouldn't an Assassin use the best tools available to him?
"pps new screenie" - No, really shut up yuoaman.

Haaave you read my LP?
Pokémon Quartz - The only one of mine really worth reading.

What about my [Un]Abridged series?

I guess that would make sense. I just didnt really expect guns to be in ACII because of all the screenshots I saw I have never seen Ezio use guns or his "hidden gun". Probably they wanted to keep that a secret? Well besides that I kind of hate having to wait to play this. It would be better if it came out earlier because we wouldnt have to wait longer.

I don't believe there were handguns in that period, but the story explains this by saying that the information we think we know about that particular invention is just part of the conspiracy, IIRC.

I know it's not much to go on considering the past AC game trailer (referring to the crossbow), but doesn't the trailer show some sort of projectile weapon? I guess it's probably not gun-powder powered, but it's the closest thing right? :P

That's pretty much the lazy man's throwing knives :P

And watching that 2nd video (which is not embedded supported) made me want the game out now, but at least Aion should distract me for two months

sd;jfslg I loved the first game and I cannot wait for the second. Seriously, I'm so antsy for it. D: I've already preordered but I have to go switch my preorder to the Black/Limited Edition because DO WANT. *_*;

I wasn't overly bothered by the repetitive missions of the first game--I just made sure not to play it too much at once and it was never a problem. I am glad they fixed that in the sequel though and can't wait to see and play through the missions. Apparently they flow better and evolve from each other. It just sounds so interesting. The gameplay additions all sound amazing and the different weapons you can use... that'll be so much fun to experiment with.

I want to hurry up and see what Ezio is like. :C

I enjoyed the original game and looking forward to playing the second. Want to try to collect some more stuff in the first one before I start the second. Sounds like they fixed some issues that were in the first, so yay
