Not sure if I posted this before,

A whisper of death

Death came to me the night before

not having to wait

for now or more.

The birds whispered

the silence came.

Peace not be forgotten

by the truth of my words.

The peace came tonight

its whisper so sweet.

It's dream into love

of the peace of my heart.

What I not knew

to forever live.

Peace came tonight

and it whispered of death.

NIce i like it. Makes me feel like my old self.......

As i lay dying

Collision

can you understand my meaning
hidden in the roses around my eyes
i want you to know
how much it means to have you in my life
your love brings me close again
in this instance when our worlds collide
the wire of eternity
twists around us
i can feel this river rising,
moving up my back
some things never change
some things never go away
i could never forget you
and i will never be the same

A whisper of death, Overlap

This world was filled with people,
But none as beautiful as youI wanted us to share our hearts,
But that could never be.
Overlap came over my soul and my eyes saw what I not wanted to hear,
The truth of whispers, the death of my heart.

The quite of this could not be stopped. I was headed towards my end.
Was it bliss I wanted, or the sweet sensation pain? The two were different, but they were the same.
Your eyes could touch my soul in a way Id never dreamt of.
Your soul could change my life so fast,
Give me pain, and give me bliss, to each his own.
The whispers that this brought about were so sweet
The whispers that brought about were so painful.

To be thought of as a monster, to be revered of as a god, I had never finished what I started.
I loved you; I hated you, always in contradiction with you,
you gave me all that I wanted,
and dangled it in the air for me.
Goodbye to my fellow mankind,
The greatness of me was not known,
My soul was lost,
But in sweet pain it was found,
As it was with sweet lust.
We were overlapped

When we two parted
In silence and tear's
Half broken hearted
To sever for years
pale grew thy cheek and cold
colder thy kiss
truly that hour fortold
sorrow to this.
The dew of the morning
sunk chill on my brow
It felt like the warning
Of what i felt now
The vows are all broken
And the light is thy fame
I hear that name spoken and i share in it's shame
Thy name there before me
A knell to my ears
A shudder comes over me
why wert tho so dear?
Thy know i knew thy
Who knew thee to well
Long long shall i rule thee
to deeply to tell
In secret love we meet in silence i greive
That thy heart could forget thy spirit decive
If i should meet thee after lon year's
How should i great thee?
With love and compassion?
Or with silence and tear's?
For that is the greatest gift of my fear's
We we two parted.

I don't know much about the rules of a good piece of Poetry, but what you wrote makes me feel in a way calm, and relaxed, something I haven't felt in a while. It was good to me.

I'll post more in a bit but,....they make you feel calm? What the...

Thats the way I feel when I read most poetry, not that it gives me some sort of feeling or anything but I'm ususally anxious most of the time, and it calms me down by reading it.

If the river had felt the way I did,
what would become?
Surely we moved foward,
and never willing to run.
Gods eyes and his legs,
gave us our need,
even though we begged
we begged and pleaed.

Forgive that of which we sined,
give us our life back,
the human was your creation,
and only a demonstration.

There we go, now who the heck gave me a bad rep here? Was it because the poem was bad or what?

I won't tell you who gave you the bad rep, he can tell you if he wishes, but yes, he didn't like your poem (I think it's great). Actually, for some reason he reported it o_O

Benjamin Franklin

"Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty – a beauty cold and austere, like that of sculpture, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature, without the gorgeous trappings of paintings or music, yet sublimely pure and capable of a stern perfection such as only the greatest art can show."

New one:
Smile
We had it all one day,
and lost it all so fast.
I waited for you by the tree,
I watched you study from afar.
Came to your doorstep,
couldent bring myself to it.
Would I regret I forever knew,
I waited so long, but after a while
I brought you a smile.

New Idea!
If anyone needs a poem, ask me for one, just tell me the subject matter, tone, length. I'll try to have it to you fast.

Got another one for ya here:

*~View*~
I felt that it could go on no longer,
but what was it that I really wanted?
Was it love, or something more?
I felt that I had given all I could to you as a friend,
now I sat down watching you be happy,
never wanting to let you go.
If I brought me joy, it brought you pain,
I let you stay in joy as I stayed in pain.
With you never knowing, but allways showing.

That one just came to me last night for no reason, lol.

Ok, I swear my next one will be happy...well maybe not happy, but at least not as depressing as these last few ^ ^;;.

Awww, I liked that poem very much, blue! I think that if you added a few more stanza's it'd be perfect. But, the way I feel about poems is as long as you took the time to write out a poem, and as long as it came fromt he heart, then no matter what the legth, it will be of pure perfection. Well done, blue. ;)

Aww thanks ^ ^

Destiny
A predetermined course of events considered as something beyond human power or control, a simple few words can map out your life. Though you fight it you can never do much, it's all in the cards, it's all come to pass. Escape and run, but time and again you will fall from grace, the truth you escaped and the peace you found...was it really that diffrent from what was your destiny?

Tried a paragrah fromat there O__0

Era
The era you left behind was perfect, so filled with your footsteps and light of your life. We all gave you praise and we all let you go. Though what could have been diffrent? We shall never know, truth be told we had nothing to lose, but everything to gain. The thought that we could never live up to your era was just so...even though I tried...I allways died...

Now figure the hidden meaning in that last one out! XD

Good job, blue. ^^ You write excellent poems. Keep up the good work! =D
Let the two of us become one
Holding on to the coward waves
We continue with our journey
The space between our hug
An endless dream
Cutting through the rainbow

Got another one in me!

How long is forever?
How long is forever?
That question kept running in my head over and over again.
Not knowing the answer to which it gave me pain.
Not having the heart to go on,
Not having the will to give up.

How I wish for the simple complacency of before,
Young and unaware of our future.
Happy and joyful full of bliss,
Now it feels as if everything is amiss.

Having to wait now for that response,
But how long would it really last?
Without heart and without the love,
I could neither stay nor could I go.

Now I sit here asking me the question…
How long is forever?

Aww, I'm sorry ^ ^;,lol

Ok so I got a new poem

Dreamer

Not a memory yet not a destiny made,
This is the fullest I have achieved and the fullest of my power.
The one that never gave up and truly sought a place for himself in life,
Be it with a true love, with friends or himself,
These dreams will always live on within the hearts of all that never gave up.

My heart kept going, not wanting to fear that I go not achieve greatness or happiness.
Truly forever I danced with fate and never once did I falter.
That escaping force, the one thing I never lost track of,
Yet the one thing I never kept up to.
My heart yearned for something more beyond this,
Love was not present, friends had all but left
I had nothing and I had everything.
I could go on endless escapes and no one to fear for me.
No one to hope for me.
Never dreaming that my dream would come true,
I never gave up.

The beauty of the endless boundaries were vast and yet silent
Never dreaming what I had to hold onto,
My ife lost itself,
And what you did to my heart was never forgotten.
Yet it was the start for me, I kept going.
This was a wonderful journey…
That dream I could never fully achieve was my one goal to catch…my goal sole reason for life
This was the lost dream and this was the lost love.

I just did this after listing to a song...I think I might have draged it out to much though.
Shuffle
Our hearts shuffle around like a of deck of cards,
Neither knowing that this was so hard.
But I let you keep on trying with me.
Hand and hand we together drew our fate,
Like a single draw of the deck.
Never knew what would come from our fate
Certain one moment and lost the next
Would we love forever, or we would hate?
I don’t know.

Never knowing when to stop
But always what do
We drew together our fate
Having courage we never faltered
Like a wildfire, we just kept going on
In this new choice of fate
Let me stay with you right now,
The deck is shuffled and our new fate was about to be made
I knew I had to stay with you
I loved you, but what was that in our heart?
Was it in our cards?
Was it in our hearts…
What would the draw of the deck say about us?

Would we be ruled…
Or make our own life together you me?
Lets keep going forever
Let the deck slip away
You and me pure together forever
Let this be it,
I never stopped but I just kept on drawing, till I reach the end
Not shuffled anymore let the deck slip away
Just you and me…

It feels better if you can find the right beat for it...but I'll let yall do it,lol.
