Shocking news today! In my park, down my road. Loads of Policemen and ambulance were crowded round an area. Me and my friend tried to get a closer look, but a Policeman told the story of what happened! So, here it is: A chinese woman had hung herself very tightly on a tree, her eyes actually popped out! She was found dead! It was weird for someone to die down my road! Wellit happens. X_X

Oooo weird and yet scary too, hopefully it was a committing suicide scenario, and not gang related. (though they are both just as horrible)

Wow, that poor woman. :( It's always horrid when things like this happen - I got news a while back that the boy I used to sit next to in English hung himself in his wardrobe on Christmas day. :(

How's your thirst for adventure, Captain?

I think it's worse when they do it in public - like, it's their last bid at showing the world how much they're in pain. -.- Inconsiderate to others to do so, especially if they're found by a little kid or something, but also extremely sad for them that their life was brought to this.

Agh... that's horrible too (about the boy in your class)...

It is unfortunate that those who commit suicide relegate to that option in the end...

Did you know, that most suicidal thoughts or attempts, can be averted, simply by someone talking to them, or the person, talking to others [about it]. It may be an uncomfortable subject, but it has to be out in the open, so the person that it is affecting, can feel wanted/needed/loved.

So, next time you see a depressed person (or anyone for that matter), whether you know they are suicidal or not, ask them how they are! :)

Suicide is always unimaginable to understand. Some say it is the cowards way out, others say that it is to relieve the pain.

Either way, it is nasty. Shame, though. A life going like that... Wonder what happened...

I always smile at everybody. It's like a gut reaction nowadays :3 I always remember that when I'm low and somebody smiles at me it helps me out, so I try to spread the love a little. ^.^ Of course, there are people who then look at you like you're weird, but...XD

Her eyes came out?! Freaky... o.O

Anyway, I always have and always will be against suicide.

Even if I had the best reason in the world to I wouldn't commit suicide. It's quite inconsiderate to the people you know and love when you think about it. They've lost a friend or relative who decided to kill themselves for X reason. And it's unfortunate for whoeve has to call the police...

As someone else in this thread said, it is the coward's way out. It's unfortunate that someone has to suffer so much in their life that they feel trapped into ending it, but it's also unfortunate that she didn't attempt to seek help or that others around her attempted to help her...but eyes popping out of her head? That's gotta be the most epic suicide ever. >_>*cough*

protip for all the emos out there, no matter your age...suicide is just not worth it. life is unfair, life is miserable, and life is depressing, but it says more for your character if you decide to perservere through the pain than to just give up. :P

1. lol, suicide.

2. As someone else in this thread said, it is the coward's way out. 1. No, it is not funny. It is not funny at all. Imagine this. Your mom just killed herself because she was apparently depressed. You had no idea, you feel responsible because you didn't realize it. Then, I come alone and say "LOL YOUR MOM COMMITED SUICIDE!"

Suicide is not funny.

2. It is not always the cowards way out. People driven by insanity are not cowards, they're insane. The only people who are cowards are people who do it because they lost their job, or they went into debt, and etc. Only those. What about people who are so dilluted from reality they think they are superheroes? They believe they can fly, without a doubt. Then jump off a building. Is that being a coward? No. What about all the people on Flight 93? The plane that was hi-jacked on 9/11 and was supposed to crash into the White House? Those people banded togethor and brought the entire plane down, knowing in the process they would kill themselves. Thus, suicide. They aren't cowards. You apparently think they are. They are heroes.

3. "Emos" are not suicidal. Whoever told you that all emos are suicidal is a complete retard. It's just a look. :/ And most people who cut themselves (note: most cutters are NOT classified into the emo clique) because they like the feeling right after. Not because they hate themselves. In fact, the majority do not do it because they hate themselves, they do it for other reasons.

Next time, do not say suicide is funny. Do not assume that all people who do it are cowards. Do not assume that an entire clique is suicidal.

@t.A.T.u. - thank you. Suicide is never amusing, and labelling it as "the coward's way out" is extremely close-minded and ignorant.
Definitely, as it is not helping the situation. Tell that to a suicide-prone person, and they'd probably go further into said state...

Well if someone does it, it probably meant they though it was a very good reason.
Some good and "good" reasons can include but are not limited to the following:

- evade torture
- evade telling the truth
- evading capture
- quicker death, in the face of inevitable death
- fatal health problem (also considered assisted suicide which is still illegal; recent case was Terry Shivo (sp?) in the USA)
- Religion (in a objective manner to one's beliefs, I am not addressing the ethical portion of it)
