I went up against the Elite Four yesterday and I made it to the fourth trainer, the one who uses Psychic pokemon. I was down to his last pokemon when he wiped me out.

I did this with pokemon basically level 45-50. I guess I should train them some more. Any idea of some good training spots?

You know that area near the eighth gym? Train there. The levels are usually 40-45, but that is just an estimate.
I trust one of your Pokemon know fly?

At least you lost before the champion, i once lost on Cynthia's Milotic (Her 4th or 5th pokemon), the best training spots would be victory road or using the vs seeker in various places works to

I agree with the above posters. The route just before Sunyshore is great for training, and Victory Road's pretty good too. =3
Victory Road's only really got rock and ground type wild Pokemon, so the route before Sunyshore may be better if you want more variety. =]

Find a trainer who deals quite a bit of xp (path to sunnyshore has some good ones) And keep using the vs seeker

You could try training off random pokemon encounters or gym leaders. Or you can just re-battle previous trainers with high lv pokemon using a vs seeker.

victory road is a good place. or use the vs. seeker.
a good place to use it is to the west of sunyshore city - there's a girl who has a lopunny that gives good exp, aswell as a few fisherman who have a few gyrados on their team.

If you cant beat Lucian you won't beat Cynthia but a good pokemon with crunch should get you past Lucian plus a good fire one for Bronzong

You could just keep facing the elite four if you don't mind losing money. You'll keep training and who knows, things might play in your favor and you could win. That's what I did in my Leaf Green. Lost about 6 times and then finally won. It was pretty good to train there as I'd always get farther.

Yeah. That's what i did. For example, to level up my Infernape i kept going up against the E4. It was a Timid one with Grass Knot, so always got pretty far into Bertha's team before i lost.
