Here's a question. If you're a guy, do you dislike girlish things? If you're a girl, do you dislike boyish things?

In essence, things that are considered common for the opposite gender to like, be it an item, a pastime, an action, something to wear, or anything else. This extends to videos, music and other entertainment as well. What are your feelings on these?

Personally, when it comes to most of this sort of stuff, I tend to avoid them unless I have a reason for not doing so. The only exception is obviously, anime, where I have absolutely no problem with sitting down and watching some incredibly girly show. Mostly this is because I appreciate anime artistically, so I don't pay much heed to the "target audience" so to speak.

As long as the "target audience" of something, doesn't hinder my ability to appreciate art or expression in my view, I do tend to give it consideration. So, yeah...I wouldn't dress feminine or anything odd like that. D8

Generally, I have very male interests, but I also have an open mind...so some of my interests do not always match the typical male pattern. :P

I like things that are targeted at boys, and I like things that are targeted at girls, though I suppose I'm more into boyish things than girly things. My attire kinda changes- I've noticed that when I was with my ex, I wore more feminine things like skirts and dresses, but now I'm single again I've gone back to my tomboyish ways and don't dress as girly. XD

I hate romantic comedies, romantic novels and 'chick lit'. I don't like chocolate very much, and I'd rather shop for video games rather than shoes. (Boots are better, anyway. :P) I do dislike some stereotypically male things, such as football/soccer, but I can't think of many at the moment. o_O;

I don't really dislike what girls like. Sometimes, I show an interest in what girls like, not really a keen interest, but an interest nevertheless. Not a physical interest.... I'm saying the wrong things.

Whilst I would never wear/watch things that are targeted for girls, I don't really dislike it.

I don't care. It's a tad sexist to just label and say you don't like what the other sex likes, right?

Although there are some clique girls who like things that I would rather be lynched than have XP

I'm a guy and I don't enjoy sports. I hate every single one of them with a passion. I find them to be extremely boring and a waste of my time. I'd rather cut off my fingers one by one than sit through a football game. I don't really enjoy girly things either though. So I don't know where I stand.

I wear girlish head ornaments/gears quite often, and pink clothing is not rare. My hair isn't masculine either. I also like drama more than action, and cute things over "cool" things usually. But while my tastes and indumentary to an extent are nowhere near macho territory, I don't see myself as feminine, not in the way I act and speak, at least. (Which to some can be quite a contrast, specially since I have a deep voice unfitting of the cute ribbons in my hair.)

I'm female, but I'm more into male things (hence why I like calling myself a gentleman more than a lady :P ). I tend to like action movies and tv shows more, so I noticed I would talk to my male friends more about those shows than my female ones since they're into romantic comedies and drama. Same thing with anime. I tend to watch anime shows that are more towards the male audience because they're more of my thing. When I dress though, I tend to wear more feminine clothes like blouses and jeans.

Well, I like to say I have very girlish tastes, in the anime I watch, in the themes I use on forums, and I'm not really into too many guy things besides cars. And even the cars I'm into aren't the sporty athletic type.

Yeah, sometimes I wonder if I was supposed to be born a girl but something got messed up along the way.

I sort of stick to that murky, gender-non-specific, unisex, whatever-you-call-it grey area. I can't stand chick lit, (American) football and most things that make it really obvious that they don't even consider including the other gender in their audience.

Hm. It really depends. When it comes to clothing, I will never be caught wearing any dresses or stuff like that. The only time I do is when I really have to. When I was younger, I was always sort of a tomboy. soooo. XD

There are many things that boys and girl both like. I always do boyish stuff and such. And I'm not saying I'm not saying I'm not interested in female stuffs.
