I probably have an internet addiction... but if I didn't have that, I'd probably revert back to my video game addiction. And if I didn't have that, either, it'd probably be food or TV.

I have a multi-addictive personality, which is why I'd probably run away from you as fast I could if you offered me a couple of smokes or some cocaine. I like to tell myself I'm able to keep things under control, but the following list pretty much takes that point, contradicts it (and by that I mean puts it in the blender and destroys it) and leaves it to die. So, yeah.

The Internet. This Summer I went away somewhere for three whole weeks. That sounds awesome, until you find out that I was sent away from technology as a whole. Don't get me wrong, this wasn't some sort of punishment camp I was sent to because my parents were worried about me; I actually wanted to go to this thing because everyone said it was awesome. Sure, I'd have to live without television and all that jazz, but there'd be lots of things that'd keep me entertained in the meantime. I reached day three and I started dying inside. I could've survived without my television, my phone, my iPod, but I was too dependent on the Internet itself to let go without a struggle. PC, other forums. MSN, my friends. Keeping in touch with current events. It was all there and I couldn't get at it for three whole weeks. It was the best three weeks of my life, but damn I don't think I'll ever willingly give up my connection to the world like that again.

PokéCommunity. I've been on forums for nearly two years. (October 29th marks my second year anniversary here.) In that time, I have joined a lot of forums. A lot. I didn't keep count, but a lot. Just take my word for it: a lot. PC is the only one I've really been able to stick to. I don't know why, but I can't force myself away from it (nor do I want to, though at times I would've said something different). It's become my second home. I've met so many awesome people here it's unreal, and I value some of them over some of my IRL friends too. Sure, ever since I joined PC, my test results have gone downhill, and sometimes I think, 'hm, what if I never joined PC in the first place?' The truth is there is no reality where that didn't happen. PC has helped me in a lot of ways become the person I am now. I don't think there's a possibility that I wouldn't find PC someday had I not done so two years ago. I think I'm meant to be here. Don't know why, but it feels that way.

Girls. Hormones. We all have them. I'm not gonna be the first who loses a fight with them and I'm not gonna be the last. Good times.

People. I love people. I can't do anything unless it involves interacting with others. That's probably why I'm never going to finish chapter one of my new fic.

Twitter. Easily my latest obsession by far. Lightning once said it's like a giant MSN conversation, but much slower. I agree with her. There are plenty of people on PC I probably would've lost contact with by now had it not been for Twitter. Plus Twitter is like my main source of news, and I love keeping on top of current events. Okay, wakachamo's my main source of news, but only because of his Twitter account.

COD4. Greatest multi-player game online. I play on the computer on a server called Rokita, and the community is friendly as well as funny. Doesn't come close to Timesplitters 2 as a multi-player game offline, but it's definitely addictive.

Mmhm. I think that's about it.
'It's been a prevalent notion. Fallen sparks. Fragments of vessels broken at the Creation. And someday, somehow, before the end, a gathering back to home. A messenger from the Kingdom, arriving at the last moment. But I tell you there is no such message, no such home -- only the millions of last moments . . . nothing more. Our history is an aggregate of last moments.'

I believe we all have addictions, sometimes we just don't realize it. I myself have a lot of addiction, some more than others. Though, I'll only list a few before I got shot with too long of a list.

The Internet. One of my biggest addictions along with so many others. I am one of those who would naturally say, "I just can't live without the internet." Though this is a little overated to begin with it is just something I am just attracted to doing every day. Especially when I wake up and take in my breakfast, right after would usually come the internet next. Being homeschooled online doesn't help with the addiction either as it just allows me to go on the internet even more.

PokéCommunity. I think this has been an addiction of mines since September of last year. Ever since I came across this site and decided to join it has just been an everyday thing for me. It is now part of my daily doings and something I can go without doing, but something I can't process out of my head. It also compliments my addiction online on the internet.

The Future. This has been another large portion of my list of addictions. I don't think I can go one day without thinking about what my future plans will be. Now this goes far and beyond as my thoughts about the future ranges throughout so many different things. It can either be about college, how I will plan my lifestyle once on my own, how I will get married, kids, and so on. The future has been one of the biggest deals for me since my freshman year, and now that I'm a senior before college it just gets to me even more.

I've been having quite a few addictions:

Cats: Oh my gosh, ever since I have my kitty I'm becoming obsessed with those creatures. The lolcats didn't help either. :P

Internet: I don't think I can live without it. XD; I love how I'm able to communicate with people around the world, read/watch the news online, listen to music, and in some cases, homework. :P

Anime and manga:I'm beginning to read/watch those more than books and tv shows now. XD; I don't know, I guess because many anime and manga I came across are more creative in the characters and plot than the books and shows I used to love. Anime and manga seems to have this endless opportunities of stories to tell.

PokéCommunity:
I joined here three years ago, but wasn't fully active until early last year. Now that I'm more active, I have been able to make new friends here and have fun in other sections than just the Fanfic section. Despite me having a fewwww complaints, overall PC is quite fun and more laid back than the other forums I had joined.

Kingdom Hearts: After I went through a painful break-up/ brokenheartedness earlier this year, the Kingdom Hearts series helped me through it. Since then, I've become more and more addicted to it. =X

PokeCommunity: By far my most visited site. I love talking to people on here- I can be myself and the community is, in short, friggin' awesome. :3

YouTube: I love spending hours just watching random stuff, be it cosplay, cartoons or AMVs.

Things I'm addicted too? Hmm... not much really I suppose, but I'll give it a shot...

- Anime (Espically Pokemon and Cardcaptor Sakura) Just love watching them for spare time really, they are just fun....

- Pokecommunity, this place is awesome! I love the people here and the habit I just have for automatically coming here to talk to friends has arrived.

- Video Games (Mostly Disgaea and Pokemon) A thing I've been addicted to for years, just can't get enough of them...

- Internet... one of the things I go on at least once a day...I just love it because I can talk to people and browse 'round randomly not actually looking for a certain thing.

- Sleeping, never can get enough sleep. Yes, I'm sooo lazy...

- Drawing, not the best drawer in the world but I love drawing just because I can use my imagination which is crammed into my head...

I guess that's about it...

Seems to me a lot of people can't tell the difference of "addiction" and "things I really, really like."

I'm not addicted to anything. There are plenty of things I really, really like and do as often as possible due to the amount of enjoyment they provide, but I could easily live life without doing them for a while.

Jogging, videogames, reading books from the Colloquial Language series from my college's library (I can pretend I actually speak several languages =p), watching movies and talkshows with my mom only to make sarcastic remarks (brazilian tv is so good), singing brazilian funk music - always a good laugh anywhere, the lyrics are intense... there's this song now called Buffalo Bill, it's entire lyrics consists of "Buffalo Bill" 245x throughout the song, and then "PUTCHA HANZZZUP! IT'S THE RHINO DANCE!". I'm trying to quit the last one, these days it's getting outta control.
