Depends really what thread it is. If it's more of an indepth discussion of shorts, I think about what I want to say before I post. While writing the post, I check to make sure everything's fine and then post it. If it's more like the polls or the DCC, not really. Just enjoying the moment there. :)

It's really a tie between Piplup and Chimchar, but I voted for Chimchar just for the heck of it. ^^;
What the? I don't even

I think before I post on most threads, although it may not seem like it.
I barely think on threads like the DCC, but I still do it nonetheless.

Yeah, I think about my posts, generally. If it's in Trivia or something silly, no. If it's a serious question of course. For average posting, I write what I want, and then edit my ever-lovin' heart out. *nessnod*

OMG, This thread is so ridiculous. I mean, Who doesn't think before they post? Everyone on earth thinks before they post,well.. atleast a little. if they don't think there wouldn't be any post at all. And i don't see any point of posting this thread :O everyone knows that everyone thinks before they post. xD

I'll usually start typing, then I'll go through and do spell checks on everything.
I also often think things out before I post it, but every once in a while I slip up, what can I say, I'm human too.

Depends on the thread type. Normally, I usually post in Other Voting Polls, so I don't really need to think my posts through. But when I post in a discussion-oriented thread, then I think my post over, as to not give my opponents something to trip me up with. I like to make some sort of impression with my posts, so that people can remember them, rather than to look at them and forget.

Also, I read through my posts so that I make sure I don't go too far off-topic, especially with long posts, like this one.

Yeah. I too agreed with that. But I think that I am able to get what the 'thread maker' wants to say after thinking a little over what he said. I think that he just wanted to know whether we just post 'lies' for the sake of increasing our post count. I really can't think of anything else that makes this thread meaningful if that's not the reason. :\

So on topic: Yup. I write what I think. I guess that's my answer. (No lies though! XD)

Let's go through how I make a post. When lurking, I'll spot a thread that I find interesting. I'll read the thread maker's post before forming in my head an idea of how I'm going to lay out my post. I'll read through all of the posts made in the thread to maybe help me remember something that I'd like to add, to see if I want to quote anyone, and to give me a better understanding on what kind of post to make. After that, it's down to this quick reply box where I spend an average of five-ten minutes typing. Here, I make a rough layout of my post before spending a lot of time deleting the most unnecessary sentences, changing the wording of them, and occasionally starting the post over completely. By the time I click "post reply," I've changed my post many times.

So do I think before I post? I'd like to think so. Do I overthink some of my posts? Yeah, but to me a post should be the absolute best is can be. So if I'm not going to think my posts through and make it to it's best, what's the point of posting at all?

It's been long but we can do it; let's make this our dream

Look to tomorrow because it's all we have. Turn up the music until the walls shake. What do we have?
Is it hope? Love? Is it nothing at all? We won't know at all until we make something of what we feel.
When that happens, we'll find the truth. We'll find what we want. And we will find ourselves, finally.

I usually read a few posts before I do make my post. As for thinking about what to make my post about... yeah, you can say I do think before I post, but I lose track and go off to do something else and forget about what I'm going to post.

I try to think before I post. Sometimes, though, I go back and read my old posts and start to think something completely different than when I made the post. I also regret some of my posts, but those ones I did make a conscious effort to think before clicking on the "Reply" button.

When I don't like what I post, I just edit it.
