Chansey is my favorite Pokemon, i have been trying for months to get one with seismic toss. i have both Pokemon Emerald, Soulsilver, and a DSi.
well it seems next to impossible to get a
Chansey with the move
Seismic Toss in GenIV 2010.
after doing some research on movesets for Chansey/Blissy websites like
smogon and
serebii both list only movesets including
Seismic Toss an elusive move that is next to impossible to teach Chansey anymore in GenIV and i will explain why.
Seismic Toss (or TM19 in previous versions) is a Move that can only be taught in
Pokemon Emerald by the
Move Tutor at the
Battle Frontier which is converted from the Battle Tower in sapphire/ruby. Once again this move can only be taught on pokemon Emerald.
Chansey cannot be caught in
Pokemon Emerald Games, it can only be caught in
LeafGREEN and
FireRED and traded to
Emerald. trading
cannot be done with a
DS, it can only be done by Link Cable or WiFi using
2 GameBoy Advanced Systems.
So in order to get a Chansey w/ the move Seismic Toss, you must:
- Catch the Chansey in LeafGREEN or FireRED.
- Trade it to Emerald using 2 GameBoy Advanced Systems and both FireRED &/or LeafGREEN and EMERALD.
- Teach Chansey Seismic Toss, Emerald Battle Frontier
- Migrate the Chansey via Pal-Park from Emerald using the Dual Slot on the DSi to Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver
So in conclusion, a
Chansey with
Seismic Toss is next to
impossible to make now days in GenIV 2010 unless you are equipped with
- 2 GameBoy Advanced Systems
- 1 Link Cable
- FireRED or LeafGreen Version
- Emerald Version
- 1 DSi System
- HeartGold or Soulsilver Version
So in other Words Websites listing movesets with Chansey/Blissy having Seismic Toss are misleading and should be updated with new movesets that fit the pokemon.
