So.
If your favourite sports team of anything happened to score or loose a goal what ridiculous things would you shout at the TV? Do you throw anything?

I'm not a big fan of watching sports games i get scared every time the oppostition is close to goal. If our team scores then i would simply go "yay".

I'm not that interested in sports, but i sometimes watch soccer or read some articles about it in the newspaper, so i can participate in discussions about it. I'm not really enthusiastic about that, but i just love when i guessed the result of a match right, especially if that involves the loss of a german team (like when i said Bayern München will lose 1-2 against Bordeaux last week, and they did lose 1-2) Yes, i'm an antipatriotist, i hate my country xD

I just scream incoherent streams of profanities that would most likely result in the banhammer being brought upon me if I repeat them here. When we score, I hug people of the same sex, cheer incoherently, jump up and down, and kiss people of the opposite sex. That's just for soccer. When it comes to hockey, I'm considerably more mellow, for some unknown reason.

When my teams do good things, I cheer, yell, clap, and sometimes jump up.

When they do bad things, I usually scream obscenities and say, "Way to mess that up, <player's name>!" in a sarcastic tone.

Lately I have been doing the latter since the Carolina Panthers are sucking this year :/ Way to mess that up, Jake Delhomme!

I like soccer. Well I like playing not watching so if my team scores I'm just go "yay" like Edam. If they lose I go "Pity", but when I play (Just with friends nothing proffesional) and I score I start running and screaming "Yeah! Didja see that? Man! Am. I. Good. Or. What?" and all other cheers. and If I lose I don't get discouraged I just say that I'll do better next time.

I support Man Utd and I can get pretty mad sometimes.

When their opposition is near goal, I'm usually wary of a goal.

Usually when we score, I jump up and fist pump with a shout of YEAH!

The only time I've done anything more out there was when we played Barca in the final, I was shouting about our bad luck for the first half but caved in to the real reason and was shouting profanity etc. at the telly while criticizing our team's performance. (which on the night was really poor)

Actually going to OT soon, god knows what will happen.

Im a big Football fan, I do support Chelsea. Anyway, if you can remember quite a while back in the Champions league game Chelsea Vs Liverpool, something big had happened. The incident whether Liverpool had scored or not. Loads of people say that the ball didnt cross the line, but the referee counted that as a goal. I was very dissapointed and Liverpool had won that game 1-0.

Normally, I just go 'Yes' when Chelsea score and get a jolly feeling in my head!

Yesterday that happened four times to my team. We lost 1-0 in the end XD

But eh, since it's just for good fun, I don't really care too much. I'm too used to seeing them lose over and over XD

I'm not into sports, but when I do watch sports, it's usually some kind of auto racing, usually either Monster Jam (monster trucks racing... destruction is fun :) ) or WRC (World Rally Championship. You try driving a tiny light AWD hatchback at 90MPH through trees... sideways. yes it's very entertaining). I'm really mellow when watching though and never yell,or scream. I do however chant for whichever Chevrolet is currently entered in Monster Jam, but with WRC, I root for the Ford team, which sadly came in second this year to Citroen... Stupid ugly French cars...
Say it's not a sport if you want to, but it does require physical effort to keep control of those cars. Monster trucks have acceleration that's second to none despite their size and WRC cars are all AWD with 300+ HP so you need to have really strong back muscles when the take off shoves you against the back of your seat so fast you can't breathe. And with how small and quick the WRC cars are, you need to be really paying attention, especially on narrow roads, many of which they race on are barely 2 inches wider than the car, to make sure u don't go off and hit a tree or hit a fan or something. It's the unpredictability and the danger of it I love. That's not something you get from any sport other than auto racing.

"We all know that small cars are good for us. But so is cod liver oil. And jogging."
"Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary... That's what gets you."
-Jeremy Clarkson of "Top Gear" and more recently "The Grand Tour"
"***damn all these women drivers! Take away all their licenses!"

I watch AFL, and support the Crows <3

Basically, whenever they're playing, I'm always saying something to the TV. However, I'm weird and blame the other team. So like, if the Blues are playing the Crows I'd be like "OMG, stupid Fevola, I hate him so bad, HE'S IN THE WAY, YEAH, GETTING A STUPID FREE KICK, YOU DON'T DESERVE IT, I HOPE YOU MISS." He'd score, but yeah... um, I love the Crows so I diss the other team. XD;

Oh, and when the Crows do rarely make mistakes, I'm like "omg, good try. You can do better next time!" not like the TV will respond, but yeah, that's how I react normally. o3o

Dont really watch much sports on TV. When I do is usually either soccer or baseball. Soccer is really the only one I might shout at and possibly throw something, but thats rare. :P

My dad watches the NFL and is a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He gives a such verbal lashing to the secondary (I consider the blunt of his anger/frustration). I can feel his pain as I get upset when they commit a stupid penalty or suffer a complete lapse in coverage.

I'm just surprised he hasn't thrown the remote through the TV or throw the TV out the window...
