I don't know how to read Japanese, is the game worth playing? I have beaten the original games as a child multiple times and have recently beat them just for the heck of it.

I was thinking of buying it but I didn't know if it was worth it if I couldn't understand most of the dialogue.

It's worth it. This is coming from a man who has experienced it first-hand.

I'm excited. If I have some cash when it comes out I'll be buying SoulSilver.

Unrelated: The main page truncated the end of the topic title so it read "I don't know how to read." It made me giggle.

It's worth it. I ordered my SS from PlayAsia and I can't read Japanese, but I used my resources like here and Youtube to figure the game out.

If you don't mind not understanding the story, I'd say it's also worth it, but it's really up to you - different people 'mind' the different language thing to a different degree. Basically it comes down to playing in an unknown language and and paying money now, opposed to not doing that but waiting several months (until March at the earliest) to play it in English.

Going to close then - that's all you need to consider, really.
